Raccoon City has 3 sub-chapters Resident Evil requestsand 18 files to collect. Many of these files may be missing, so you need to know where to go and how to retrieve them. Below, we'll show you a step-by-step guide for each file in Raccoon City for Resident Evil Requiem, so you don't get lost and don't need to start over.
The file locations below are listed in chronological order, so you know which files are missing, as well as the most appropriate order to collect them, from the beginning to East Raccoon City, Orphanage, and RPD.
All files in East Raccoon City (RE9).
File # 48 – Report on the Raccoon City incident
This file is automatically unlocked after finishing the cutscene that starts in the Leon's Raccoon City chapter. The file can be found in your File menu.
File #49 – Raccoon City Incident Newspaper
Once you take control of Leon, head south down the street where you can find this file on the sidewalk to the right, along with some discarded trash bags. It's just a few steps in front of Leon's car.
File #50 – Orders for the Corps of Engineers
Go inside the central camp, where on a desk inside the blue tent, you can find this file.
File #51 – Battery Storage Locations
Inside the underground parking garage, look at the locked main gate and inspect the battery box to collect this file.
File #52 – Inventory List
Once you leave the underground parking garage and complete a cutscene to get the BSAA Container Key, go to the blue container in front of the Cedarbrook Apartments to find this file in a crate.
File #53 – Engineer Core Note
Get to the Cedarbrook Apartments Roof, where you can find this note from a yellow container with a broken signal receiver.

File #54 – RPD Perimeter Report
Once you are inside the RPD, go to the save point in the main hall. Opposite the save point is a file in the dustbin.
File #55 – Top Secret Operation
Inside the West Office, you can find this file on a desk with an open book on it.
File #56 – Record of Events
Go to the operating room and inspect the blue board in the middle of the room.
File #57 – Guide Sheet File #57 won't be available until after the Orphanage section, so come back later. Go ahead in this guide to the Orphanage section!
Once you're back playing as Leon, run through the previously remote area of the RPD thanks to a cutscene. Walk around to the upper east floor of the main hall to find this file on the couch.
File #58 – Library Card
South of the operation room, you can find the reception, which has a ladder that you can shoot to climb up. From the second floor corridor, enter the STARS office, where you can find this file inside a drawer in the office to the left of the door. Open the drawer, then press X on the opened drawer to reveal the file.
File #59 – Barry's To Do List
On the left desk inside the STARS office, you can find this file.
File #60 – Scavenger Hunt – Clue 1
Inside the STARS office, head over to the gray leather jacket hanging in the middle of the desk and inspect it for this file.
File #61 – Scavenger Hunt – Clue 2
Enter the STARS office and look in the open south locker for this file.
File #62 – Photo
After you pick up Barry's To Do List and Library Card, you can now enter the library on the upper west floor to find a book you can interact with. The book is upstairs and to the left of the walkway, to the right of the locked wooden door. Interact with the book to find this file and open its pages.
All Orphanage Files (RE9)
File #63 – Finger Tags
Now that you are playing as Chloe, go to the underground chapel and enter the room with the black coffins. The first coffin on the right can be opened, and inside it this file is revealed.
File #64 – Series 60 results
Once you manage to escape from the underground chapel, you'll be in a research lab. Inside the lab, on the desk, you can find this open file.
File #65 – New Researcher's Notebook
Also in the Research Lab, you can find this file in the back right corner of the desk.
Make sure to grab the orphanage files when they appear, because you can't go back to this section once you exit the research lab!
