They may have started as a ragtag group, but Luffy's Straw Hat Pirates have become one of the most famous crews in the modern era. After facing many challenges and embarking on adventure after adventure, the Straw Hats have earned quite a reputation for their various exploits.
With all that notoriety comes some extra attention from the world government. In total, the 10 Straw Hat crew members have collected a bounty of 8,816,001,000 berries. Much of that falls on Luffy's shoulders, but the rest of the crew have earned huge bounties in their own right (except for the poor helicopter). Here's a look at the highest straw hat bounties ever.
Franky – 394,000,000 berries
The Straw Hat shipwright is certainly one of the brightest crew members on board. Franky's massive personality overshadows the various modifications that make him such a valuable asset in battle. As silly as he may be, Frankie has earned a very high reward since joining the crew.
Franky earned a bounty of 44,000,000 Berries after the Enies Lobby incident, this increased to 94,000,000 Berries after Dressrosa, and finally increased by 300,000,000 Berries from the raid on Onigashima. With everything going on in Elbaf, you can bet that Frankie and the rest of the Straw Hats are going to see their bounties spike.
Usopp – 500,000,000 berries
He's often relegated to comic relief, so it's odd that Usopp is actually one of the highly active bounties among the Straw Hat team. That's not to say he hasn't earned it, but he often plays a supporting role, letting the crew's monster trio and other crewmates take on more challenging foes.
Usopp started with a bounty of 30,000,000 berries after Enies Lobby, along with his alter ego, Sogeking, gained the attention of the World Government for burning the World Government flag and attacking Spandom. Usopp would finally be officially recognized after Dressrosa, when his bounty reached 200,000,000 berries and his face was used on his wanted poster instead of Sogeking's mask. Like almost every other Straw Hat, Usopp's bounty increased by 300,000,000 berries after the raid on Onigashima, bringing it to 500,000,000 berries.
Nico Robin – 930,000,000 Berries
The Monster Trio often garners the most attention of all the Straw Hat crew members due to their incredible strength and achievements in taking down some of the toughest pirates out there. But no one is more important to the Straw Hat crew's goal of finding a piece than Nico Robin.
Before joining the crew, Robin carried a reward of about 79,000,000 berries due to what happened to Ohara and her ability to read poneglyphs. Robin surprisingly didn't see much of an increase in his bounty after Enies Lobby, it only went up to 80,000,000 Berry. After Dressrosa, Robin's bounty reached 130,000,000, but it really increased after the attack on Onigashima. Robin received an even bigger boost to his bounty after Wano, adding another 800,000,000 berries to his current bounty.
Sanji – 1,032,000,000 berries
One of the Straw Hat Crew's infamous monster trio, Sanji plays an important role in feeding everyone on the ship. But he's even more valuable on the battlefield, often taking on some of the strongest enemies the Straw Hats encounter.
Sanji would earn a 77,000,000 berry bounty after Enies Lobby, though his wanted poster comically included a sketch that looked nothing like Sanji. After Dressrosa, Sanji's bounty increased to 177,000,000 berries with a “just alive” condition, due to the intervention of his father, Judge Vinsmoke. After Sanji's relationship with Germa 66 was revealed during what happened on Whole Cake Island, his bounty increased to 330,000,000 berries. Sanji's actions during the raid on Onigashima earned him one of the highest rewards in the crew, this wano later increased to 1,032,000,000 berries.
Jinbe – 1,100,000,000 berries
Jinbe may be the newest addition to the Straw Hat crew, but the former Warlord of the Sea was infamous before joining Luffy and the rest of the gang.
Jin received a 76,000,000 berry bounty while a member of the Sun Pirates. It reached 250,000,000 berries but was deactivated when he agreed to become a Warlord. After leaving his position, Jinbe's bounty nearly doubled, jumping to 438,000,000 when he helped Luffy and the Whitebeard Pirates during the Marineford Arc. With the raid on Onigashima, Jinbe received the largest increase in bounty of all Straw Hat crew members, it currently stands at 1,100,000,000 Berries.
Zoro – 1,111,000,000 berries
Luffy's right-hand man and considered by many to be the second-strongest Straw Hat, Zoro already had a solid reputation as a pirate hunter before being recruited by Luffy. The first Straw Hat to join the team, Zoro and Luffy have come a long way together, though he's still far from putting a huge price on his captain's head.
After taking down 100 bounty hunters at Daz Bones and Whiskey Peak in Arabia, Zoro receives a 60,000,000 berry bounty. This doubled after Enies Lobby, making Zoro a super rookie and ranking alongside his captain as the worst generation. Zoro's bounty went up to 320,000,000 Berries after Dressrosa and an impressive 1,111,000,000 Berries after Wano.
Luffy – 3,000,000,000 berries
Leader of the Straw Hat Pirates, it's no surprise that Luffy has the highest bounty of all his crew members. Luffy is pulled into some crazy adventures in his quest to become the Pirate King and find the One Piece. As it stands, Luffy and his Devil Fruit are one of the biggest threats to the World Government's chokehold on the world, and his reward reflects that.
Luffy earned the first reward of 30,000,000 berries after defeating Arlong and beating Nezumi, along with the rest of the team at the time. After Luffy eliminated Arlong, Buggy, and Don Krieg, he earned the highest bounty in East Blue. Luffy's bounty increased to 100,000,000 berries when he took down the crocodile and saved Arabasta, although his efforts were rejected by the World Government. After Enies Lobby, Luffy's bounty tripled, and he was recognized as a super rookie and member of the worst generation. After defeating Geko Moria, punching World Noble, smashing Impel Down, Monkey D. Revealed to be the son of a dragon, and fighting in the Summit Battle of Marineford and ringing the Ox Bell, Luffy's bounty increased to 400,000,000 berries. Which doesn't take into account how much he did to earn it. Luffy's bounty increased by another 100,000,000 berries after Dressrosa and increased to 1,500,000,000 berries after Whole Cake Island. Luffy was recognized as one of the Four Emperors after the Rebellion on Onigashima, his bounty increased to 3,000,000,000 Berries, the lowest of all active and past Emperors. With what's going on in Elbaf, you can expect Luffy's already ridiculous reward to reach the sky.
