The first course of 2026 is starting on April 5, 2026. It will run for 13 episodes, after which fans will have to wait for the second course.

It has already been confirmed that the One Piece anime will adapt one chapter per episode. The pacing is far from ideal, but it's much better than having to endure a piece before.

The pacing will also ensure a healthy gap between anime and manga. If the anime catches up to the manga, there will be a lot of complications. The worst thing would be that the anime would have to go on hiatus for an extended period of time until the manga could rebuild the gap.
