Although not official, it is possible that there may be other opportunities for Mimikyu here. Players have suspected that the announcement of Pikachu being the Spotlight Hour Pokemon for April 1st may be hiding a secret Mimikyu. Given that April 1st is April Fools' Day, it makes a lot of sense for Mimikyu, who regularly disguises himself as Pikachu, to pop up that day instead of Pikachu. The GO Pass listing for Mimikyu specifically refers to it as “Mimikyu (Mimikyu_Disguised)”, perhaps indicating that it may first appear as a standard Pikachu when encountered. However, this has not been confirmed as of publication time.
Addition of Mimikyu Pokemon Go Will likely be celebrated by many fans, as it marks one of the last Gen 7 Pokémon to be added to the mobile game. Pokemon Go Introducing new Pokemon has a difficult path, as it has to dripfeed them at a pace that keeps players satisfied without running out of Pokemon to add. With that being said, Gen 7 Pokemon aren't the oldest to be missing from mobile games. Three Gen 4 Pokemon are missing, namely Manaphy, Phione, and Arceus Pokemon Go until today. While there are still plenty of Gen 8 and 9 Pokemon to be added, some players are frustrated with the wait, considering that generation was released 10 years ago. That being said, this isn't the only leak Pokemon Go Recently seen. A new device called the Explorer Gadget is now in code, which functions like the Pokemon Go Plus+ device without the need for an external physical object. Reportedly, the Explorer gadget lets players automatically spin PokeStops and throw Pokecables at Pokemon, even when the game is closed. However, this will reportedly be limited to one use per day, and no release date has been announced for the new feature yet.
