Mimikyu is finally joining Pokemon GoWith detailed information on the official website. While it's been a long wait for the popular Gen 7 Pokemon, Pokemon Go Trainers can now find Mimikyu as part of the game's free GO Pass.

The players have demanded Pokemon Go Add Mimikyu for a long time. The popular Pokemon has fans all over the world, but despite being introduced in the main series 10 years ago, it has been missing from the game. Although not official, it is possible that there may be other opportunities for Mimikyu here. Players have suspected that the announcement of Pikachu being the Spotlight Hour Pokemon for April 1st may be hiding a secret Mimikyu. Given that April 1st is April Fools' Day, it makes a lot of sense for Mimikyu, who regularly disguises himself as Pikachu, to pop up that day instead of Pikachu. The GO Pass listing for Mimikyu specifically refers to it as “Mimikyu (Mimikyu_Disguised)”, perhaps indicating that it may first appear as a standard Pikachu when encountered.
