New Shonen Jump Showcase Teases Kagurabachi Anime Announcement

Shōnen Jump has entered somewhat of a decline since the end of Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia. The two helped Shonen Jump reach new levels to become more popular.

Both JJK And My Hero Academia has sold over 100 million copies, a feat accomplished by only a handful of other manga. So, Shueisha is looking for a new manga that can help fill the void. One of the manga that could be a possible replacement is Kagurabachi.

Shonen Jump Big Three One Piece Ichi Kagurabachi

Shonen Jump has officially found a new Big Three

After One Piece, Naruto and Bleach, it's time to welcome the new Weekly Shonen Jump Big Three.

Teasing the Shonen Jump Kagurabachi anime announcement

Kagurabachi Part 2 begins

On April 10, Shonen Jump shared a new teaser visual featuring five unique items:

  • the hawk

  • pills

  • Grimoire

  • gold fish

  • Ring necklace

Each item represents a specific anime. For example, the grimoire belongs to Black Clover, and the ring necklace probably belongs to the Jujutsu Kaisen character Yuta Okkotsu. Similarly, the gold fish from Kagurabachi.

It's already been confirmed that Jujutsu Kaisen and Black Clover will return with new anime projects, so it's safe to say that Goldfish's presence indicates that an anime announcement is on the way.

An anime adaptation for Kagurabachi has yet to be announced, but the time has come for Shonen Jump to do so. Kagurabachi manga is popular, but it still hasn't reached the same level of fame as Jujutsu Kaisen and My Hero Academia.

An anime adaptation can prove to be extremely profitable, especially when it greatly benefits the popularity of the manga.

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Part 2 may announce a new update

3-Way Domain Extension Yuta Ryu Uro (1)

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Part 1 already ended in March 2026, and it was one of the best projects that MAPPA worked on. While the first part has just ended, fans are eager to know when the second part will be released. Many rumors suggest that the next part of Jujutsu Kaisen will air in 2027, but there is no official confirmation yet. Hopefully, that will change in Shonen Jump Showcase. The new JJK part will cover the rest of the cooling game, which will include many incredible fights.

In addition to JJK, the Shonen Jump Showcase will also make an announcement related to Black Clover. In 2025, it was confirmed that the Black Clover anime would return, but the exact release date was not shared with the audience. So, hopefully, there is an update on the showcase.

Kagurabachi is available to read on Shonen Jump+.
