From the early days Dragon Ball franchise, Goku has the ability to destroy entire planets, so naturally, this power has become easier for him to use over the years as he's grown in strength. Base Goku's strongest attack is the Spirit Bomb

Debut Arc: Saiyan Saga

In some that is quite unusual for Dragon Ball series, Goku's most powerful move, in all his forms, is the one he uses in his regular state. By collecting the energy of many other living beings, Goku unleashes an exceptionally powerful attack that easily wipes out any evil enemy he faces, depending on the amount of energy it contains. While he has technically been shown to use it in other forms, the Spirit Bomb is synonymous with Base Goku.

Super Saiyan Goku has The Angry Kamehameha

Debut Arc: Frieza Saga

The strongest application of the legendary Kamehameha came at the end of the Frieza saga, when Goku gave Frieza a small amount of energy to survive. As he was leaving the planet, the villain tried to sneak up on him. Enraged at his stupidity, Goku easily overcomes this attack with a massive wave of Ki. It was different from the regular Kamehameha as it was fired from one hand and was yellow in color, showing how angry and powerful Goku was.

Super Saiyan 2 Goku unleashes the Super Kamehameha

The Kamehameha has always been Goku's signature technique, making it one of the most iconic moves in the anime industry. While in his Super Saiyan 2 state, Goku perfected the attack to become even more deadly, multiplying its size and power to form Super Kamehameha. Although this version would later be the default that Goku used in his strongest forms, Super Kamehameha shined in Super Saiyan 2 Goku's hands.

Dragon Fist Super Saiyan 3 is Goku's signature

Debut Arc: Wrath of the Dragon

Goku's Super Saiyan 3 doesn't show many different moves set in canon, just building on Super Saiyan 2's attacks. Because of this, this form's strongest attack would also be Super Kamehameha, although its actual finishing move was introduced in the non-canon film. Wrath of the Dragon. Dragon Fist essentially creates a golden dragon from Ki that wraps around Goku's opponent while the hero himself pierces them, making this technique one of the most powerful in the franchise.

Super Saiyan 4 Goku has The Transcendent Kamehameha

In one of the most powerful beam attacks in the entire series, Super Saiyan 4 Goku uses the Transcendent Kamehameha. Functionally, this attack is the same as every other version, although the beam itself is much thicker and longer, with additional dull red colors compounding its already amazing power. This attack not only shook the entire demon realm, but also overwhelmed Gomah's incredible strength in his third-eye powerful state.

Like the attack version before it, Limit Breaker God Kamehameha is a much stronger version of the same technique. However, it essentially became Goku's default version of Attack on All Dragon Ball SuperWhile he used it against everyone from Golden Frieza to Jiren, the absolute pinnacle of this technique was the version he demonstrated with his Kaioken x20, which further increased its power.

Ultra Instinct Sign Goku used Divine Kamehameha

While this is another version of Kamehameha that is somehow stronger than its predecessor, Divine Kamehameha is used quite differently. While Goku would normally charge up an attack while standing still or use Instant Transmission to follow his opponent, Ultra Instinct Sign Goku would casually run around and jump over obstacles while charging up an attack, the most mobile version of the technique to date.

Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku had a Spirit Avatar

Debut Arc: Morrow Arc

As Goku's most powerful state, Mastered Ultra Instinct gives him some crazy powers, the main one being Spirit Avatar. Essentially, this incarnation is similar to the Spirit Bomb, in that the energy of others boosts this power, as the first version of it was born through Vegeta giving Goku a ton of energy using Forced Spirit Fission. The result was a giant avatar made entirely of Ki that could defeat anyone he went up against, even defeating powerhouses like Moro.
