Xbox Game Pass Subscribers have nine new games they can look forward to checking out in May 2026. Xbox Game Pass has undergone some dramatic changes over the past year. The end of 2025 saw Microsoft announce a significant Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price hike – a move that caused so many people to rush to cancel their subscriptions that it literally crashed the website.
The new Xbox CEO has reversed the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate price increase, bringing it down to $22.99 by nearly $7. It came at a cost Call of Duty One Day Xbox Game Pass is a game, but customers can expect at least entries in the franchise to hit the service roughly a year after their initial launch. As far as new games coming in the more near future, there are at least nine games on deck for Xbox Game Pass in May 2026.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers should note that the full lineup for May 2026 has yet to be announced, but nine titles confirmed so far are Pixel remasters. Final Fantasy 5 Coming May 5th, mixtape Coming May 7th, Call of the Elder Gods Falling on May 12, Forza Horizon 6 To be released on May 19 Bistro Launching on May 21, Eco Generation 2 Coming up on May 27, and The Crashout Crew Released on May 28. RV still there? and Subnautica 2The Early Access release of both is also coming in May 2026, but exact dates have yet to be announced.
Of the nine games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in May 2026, a total of eight are brand new, Day One releases. Should be a headliner Forza Horizon 6However, June will likely be another critically-acclaimed open world racing game from developer Playground Games. Forza Horizon 6 It's set in Japan (something fans have been asking to see for years) and everything we've seen from it so far looks incredibly impressive, so that alone should make May a great month for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
As usual, Day One Xbox Game Pass games will only be for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, so those signed up for the lower tiers shouldn't expect to be able to play the bulk of the new games coming in May 2026. We know. Final Fantasy 5 Xbox Game Pass will be available in the premium tier, so subscribers have at least something to look forward to.

In the meantime, Xbox Game Pass subscribers still have a few games to look forward to in April 2026. Aphelion is a sci-fi adventure game from developer Don't Nod that will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on April 28. Trepang2 Coming up on April 29, and the month ends Heroes of Might and Magic: The Old Age, Sledding gameand Teratech Army All will join the service on April 30.
