In chapter 98 of the manga, Shinzo decides to visit the so-called Blood Spray Shopping Arcade – the spy underworld's very own shopping center. After Shinzo refuses to take Taiyo with him, Ayaka Kirisaki, a supporter of the Yozakura family and a strong contender for the position among the top secretly sinister female anime characters, volunteers to accompany Shinzo. Anticipating more situational hilarity ahead, Kengo convinces Taiyo and Nanao to conduct secret surveillance on Shinzo's unexpected date.
As we saw in Shion's chaotic date with Kenji, being yozakura means not having to deal with one's personal quirks alone – regardless of one's wishes. Even as Shinzo urges him to go to the shopping center without Taiyo, the Yozakura brothers direct their unparalleled stealth warfare expertise where the world needs it most – Shinzo's personal life.
Shinzo's dating mess drives the season's plot forward
Interestingly, according to the manga, Chapter 98 follows Taiyo's successful completion of the Silver Rank exam, which is the first episode of season 2.
