With May officially upon us, that means it's time for another batch of anticipated titles. Chief among them is 007 First Light, IO Interactive's brand new James Bond experience that draws on old Bond titles with some new flair.
007 First Light is coming out on May 27, and in the lead up to its release, we've been dropping tons of information and giveaways, including the title track performed by none other than Lana Del Rey. Not only did Del Rey lend her vocal chops for the song, but IO Interactive kept the Bond tradition alive with a unique title sequence.
However, not only have we learned how long 007 First Light will be, but, as Insider Gaming first revealed, we now have a better idea ahead of release.

007: The First Light may usher in a new era for licensed video games
After several hours on Bond by IO Interactive, I'm ready for more.
007 First Light promises to be a sweet experience
In a new video from YouTuber JorRaptor, based on conversations with members of the development team, 007 First Light will run for about 20 hours, give or take.
Of course, depending on your playing style, that number can go up or down. A speed runner or someone playing on low difficulty might be able to clock it in 15 hours, while a challenging runner might take even longer. That's not to mention the game's trophy and achievement list, which may have their own requirements.
On paper, that number is pretty tall, and it looks even higher when you compare 007 First Light to other action games.
For example, the longest Uncharted game is 15 hours (Uncharted 4) and the shortest is The Lost Legacy at seven hours. Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, per HowLongToBeat, averaged around 16 hours for its main campaign, while the recent Tomb Raider trilogy never topped 13 1/2 hours.
Even in newer releases, 007 First Light should be different, as Pragmata is an 11-hour game, while Resident Evil Requiem is roughly the same time, but like Bond, can be stretched for different play styles.
Of course, game length isn't everything and there are definitely titles that overstay their welcome, and shorter games that are a revelation. But given how much games cost these days, it's nice to know that 007 First Light will have some meat.
