Jujutsu Kaisen Shuisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine officially ended its run on September 30, 2024. With the conclusion of the Shinjuku Showdown arc performed after the fall of Ryomen Tsukuna, much has changed in the world of jujutsu. The final arc of Jujutsu Kaisen saw the rise and fall of some of the most powerful magicians in the series, and the elimination of a very important part of them.
Of course, from those who remained, many rose to new levels and others took their power from them. Apparently, there was a great reshuffling in the ranks of the most powerful magicians at the end. Jujutsu Kaisen. Now, it can be said that the ranks of the strongest magicians are quite different from how they were at the beginning of the story.

Jujutsu Kaisen: The 'Strongs' of Every Era and Their Strongest Abilities, Explained
No one can hold a candle to the power of the strongest magicians of each era in Jujutsu Kaisen – especially when they use their strongest abilities.

Nobara Kugisaki
-
Sorcerer Grade: Grade 3 (Grade 1 skill)
Nobara returned at the end of the Jujutsu Kaisen, and she did incredibly well immediately after her return. Nobara woke up shortly before joining the battle and she used Sukuna's finger as a dummy and used Resonance to deal massive damage to her. This allowed Yuji to deliver the final blow to the King of Curses and defeat him for good.
Unfortunately, Nobara's current level of power remains unknown. For all we know, she wasn't in Shibuya, which puts her at the bottom of the list.

In Hiromi Higuru
Hiromi Higuru was a pure gem who was discovered during the In Calling Game Jujutsu Kaisen. It's clear to see that his level of talent is essentially generational. It was authentically mentioned in the story that he has the same talent as Gojo Satoru, making him a true gem. Higuruma was assumed to have died in his battle against Tsukuna, but it was eventually confirmed that his skills as a mage saw him survive the struggle against the strong.
By the end of the series, Higuru is one of the strongest magicians, with a powerful shikigami called Judgeman, a domain extension called Fatal Punishment, and on top of that, powers like the Reverse Cursed Technique and Domain Amplification – making him a force to be reckoned with.

Megumi Fushiguro
Megami Fushiguro is one of the strongest magicians in the Jujutsu Kaisen, and her stint in Tsukuna's body made her stronger than ever. By the end of the series, Megumi has better control over her shikigami due to Tsukuna using them relentlessly. On top of that, he should have very good control over domain expansion, especially since Tsukuna opened his domain four to five times inside his body.
Furthermore, it is also possible that Magumi now has access to the shrine, although this is largely unconfirmed. Regardless, fans know Megumi to be an incredibly powerful mage with an even higher ceiling to reach.
5
Aoi Todo
Aoi Todo is a monstrously powerful fighter who, despite losing one of his weapons, remains a force to be reckoned with. At the end of the original JJK, Todo is stronger than ever, thanks to his vibraslap. Essentially, his vibraslap improved his technique. VibraSlap consists of a ball that vibrates at a very high speed. Essentially, it can reach up to 50 vibrations a second, and each vibration counts as a slap. This means that Boogie Woogie now allows Toto to switch up to 50 times a second which is incredibly overpowered.
To make this technique even stronger, Todo uses a binding vow. This binding vow sacrifices the number of swaps he can use to increase the range of his technology. Conversely, his technique range can be reduced to increase the number of swaps he can make. Overall, Todo is a brutal fighter right now, and with the powers he has, few can take him down.

Kinji Hakari
Kinji Hakari is one of the most powerful magicians in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. When it came to modern magicians, Kinji Hakari was considered to be someone who could eventually reach the same level as Gozo. Unfortunately, he was incredibly disappointed in the battle against Sukuna.
Fans know that his technique, Private Pure Love Train, is incredibly powerful, especially within his domain extension, called the Idol Death Gamble. For 4 minutes and 11 seconds, he is essentially immortal, with infinite cursed energy and the power to heal from anything, if he hits the jackpot. Apparently, at his best, he's almost unstoppable. Still, the lack of accomplishments at the end means that some selections could make him great.
3
Maki Janine
Maki reached a much higher level in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, as she also faced Ryomen Tsukuna. It's safe to say that Maki may have even surpassed Toji at this point, and her power level was such that she managed to stab Sukuna's heart, and on top of that, tanked two powerful Black Flashes from her. Any damage from his sword cannot be healed by RCT as it is soul damage.
Maki was the only one who pushed Tsukuna into the role and made him prove if jujutsu was truly superior to physical strength. Regardless, Maki was amazing in the final arc and even defeated Tsukuna on a few occasions, although she was overall weaker than her weakest form.
2
Yuji Itadori
-
Sorcerer Grade: Special Grade (After Battle)
The hero of the series, Yuji Itadori reached a very high level in the final arc, as he was the one who defeated Tsukuna. He not only mastered the Simple Domain, but also gained access to Blood Manipulation by consuming Death Painting 4-9. Above all, Yuji Itadori also went on to raise his own shrine to Sukuna. On top of all this, he was also able to create a domain extension that was strong enough to defeat even the King of Curses by allowing him to deliver a powerful blast that hit the King of Curses' soul.

Yuta Okkotsu
-
Sorcerer Grade: Special Grade
Immediately following the end of the Shinjuku Showdown Raid, the strongest magician in the Jujutsu Kaisen is none other than Yuta Okkotsu. Fans know him to be a unique mage, thanks to Rika's presence around him.
Thanks to his copying technique, Yuta is extremely powerful. His domain extension, called Authentic Mutual Love, is also extremely powerful and sees him use his copy techniques as often as he wants, the only downside being that he doesn't know which technique to use when he raises his sword to launch an attack. Along with Rika, Yuta is almost unstoppable in battle. He also possesses the Reverse Cursed Technique, Domain Amplification and Barrier Techniques at the level of Gozo. After his brief time in Gozo's body, he also possessed the Infinite Engraver in his mind, although it is unknown to this day whether or not he can properly use it.
Jujutsu Kaisen is available to read on Manga Plus.
