May 2026 was a strong month for video games with the release of titles such as LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and 007: First Light. In June, you're going to see a lot of new big Triple-A games. That said, the month still promises to be solid.
There is a litany of titles coming out from various developers and publishers. These games span a range of genres, so most players will be able to find something to suit their taste. Here is a collection of the most exciting titles releasing in June.

Starseeker is not labeled as a sequel to 2019's Astroneer, but is set in the same universe. In this game, you play as a crew member on a huge space station named ESS Starseeker. However, you don't just walk around the station; You travel to different planets alone or with a crew. Once you enter these worlds, you have a limited amount of time to explore, complete tasks, and gather resources before you return home.

Go Boldly: The Best Space Exploration Games
For anyone who wants to explore the vast reaches of space, these games are an absolute must!
Therefore, it is slightly different from the original Astroneer, as it looks more intense and less comfortable. Also, you have specific missions instead of endless exploration. However, the visuals and animations feel very familiar.

You won't have to wait long to get your hands on the remake of the first Gothic game, as it releases on June 5. The title puts you in control of a prisoner trapped in a valley surrounded by a magical barrier. You have to try to survive this dangerous place and learn more about the obstacle.
The original game was released in 2001 and was regarded as a highly influential RPG, particularly for its open world design and use of player choice. This remake promises to be truly faithful to the original while adding new quests and significantly increasing the quality of the visuals. If it accomplishes this, it could prove to be one of the best action RPGs of the year.

Some games include trains, but not like DenshTack! does It's a game where you exclusively control a train as you speed around Japan at a frantic pace. The story is set in the not-so-distant future in a version of Japan that has abandoned local railways. They are captured by underground gangs who use them to compete against each other.
As you might be able to guess, you are one of the people who use these trains. In each level, you fly around a bunch of train tracks, pulling off some impressive stunts, trying to earn points, complete objectives or win races. The game is obviously very wacky and unique. In fact, it's hard to think of any other game like it. That's the game's main selling point, along with its beautiful art style.

Release date |
June 9, 2026 |

systems |
PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S |
NBA: The Run brings back memories of the popular NBA Streets games. This is because it offers fast-paced, arcade basketball with a street-style setting. So, you can see famous players like Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, and James Harden playing in regular clothes on the street court.
Because it's clearly the spiritual successor to NBA Streets, it's not a completely original concept, but it's been a while since there's been a licensed basketball game like this. Whether it will live up to the great NBA Streets games remains to be seen, but it's exciting.

Voidling bound

pc |
Voidling Bound is a creature collection title, a type of game made popular by the Pokemon series. However, this game is very different from the usual Pokemon adventure. After all, it's also a third-person action title where you take direct control of your creatures (Voidlings) to bind your mind to them.
While in control, you take to the field and battle enemy creatures using your array of unique powers. You use these abilities against a parasitic force known as the Legion. You must prevent them from taking over by removing their powers and clearing their spheres of influence. In order to do that, you have to engage in deep upgrading of the game and build a system to make your Voidlings as effective as possible. It certainly looks like a unique entry in the zoological genre.

The Adventures of Eliot: The Millennium Tales
|
developer |
Square Enix/Claytechworks |
|---|---|
|
Release date |
June 18, 2026 |
|
systems |
PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 |
Fans of Octopath Traveler may find a familiar feel when watching The Adventures of Eliot: The Millennium Tales as they share the same 2D pixel art style. This is no coincidence, as they are both 2D-HD Square Enix games. Unlike Octopath Traveler, however, The Adventures of Elliot is not turn-based. Instead, it has a real-time action combat system, but it's still an RPG.
The main character is Elliot, who must travel through different time periods to save the princess. Therefore, the story has a heavy use of time travel, giving it some Chrono Trigger vibes. If this is at least half as good as the classic RPG, then it will be an incredible game.

June 10, 2026 |
|
systems |
pc |
There are many open-world survival games out there today, but Witchspire manages to stand out by putting you in the role of a witch. This means you have the ability to cast spells and fly on a broomstick.
Along with these things, the game also has more traditional survival game elements, such as resource gathering and crafting. On top of that, there are a lot of mobs that you can fight. So, it looks like an overall solid survival game experience with the added bonus of witchcraft, which makes it even more original.

Nintendo Switch 2 |
The Star Fox series seemed to be doing well in the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s, but the series remained dormant for a long time. That's only about to change with the release of a game titled Star Fox. It is a remake of the very popular Star Fox 64, which was released in the late 90s. This new version promises to be very similar in terms of layout layout and tone. However, there has been a significant upgrade to the visuals.
For those who haven't played the original, it's a train shooter that puts you in control of a ship. You go through levels dodging enemy fire while firing your own shots. The original excelled due to its smooth gameplay and engaging banter between characters. 2026's Star Fox is expected to offer those things.
