Alternatively, you can get it for free by going to the location pictured below in the Queensbury Crypt Foyer.

To get your hands on Throwing dagger upgrade (and Spin Rush Upgrade (for Blaststrike Maul), you'll need to return to the ship you started the game on. It is called Loner's Landing: The Below DeckAnd here's the route to get from Knox's Bayou (with screenshots to help). Remember to be a couple Care Before you go to the location!

Find Pinkie's parlor in Nox's Bayou and steal the ladder.

Exit the back of the shop, down one screen, then left one screen, past the shop entrance.

Once you head left screen to the shop, go to the next area.

Go out the southeast exit.

At the train station, go south down the stairs.

You will see a rope on the left that has yet to be “unlocked”. Throw the ladder in front of it to reach the upper platform. Break the wooden stump and head to the right.

This will take you to Loner's Landing. Cross the barrels and then go to the side of the ship.

You'll see two upgrades behind two locks: one for Throwing Dagger, and one for Spin Rush. Use the two Kears to clear the upgrades, but make sure to slash the seaweed on the other side to gain access.

If you have already started entering the mirror Mina the Hollover And discovered the Astral Orrery, then there's a super easy way to get to the upgrade chest.
That's all you have to do Enter the mirror from the Astral Orrery which takes you to the Infested Tent in Bone Beach.. Doing so will take you directly to the chest area. In the “room” with the tent, you'll see a spot in the upper-right corner that you can land on top of the purple bouncing things.
Jump up the path and tent to travel one screen to the left. You'll find the Charge Swing Upgrade in a chest.
How to get the Guardian Casket and its upgrades
