Venyu (Ginyu-Vegeta) leads the Venyu Force and defeats Goku in an alternate timeline

In one of the corrupted timelines from Dragon Ball XenoverseCaptain Ginyu switches bodies with Vegeta before killing Guldo. Now in Vegeta's body calling himself “Venyu”, Ginyu-Vegeta successfully kills Gohan, Krillin and Vegeta trapped in Captain Ginyu's body before Goku's arrival. Once Goku reaches Namek, Venyu has Ginyu Force Rush Goku and distract him long enough for Ginyu to switch bodies with Goku.

Ginyu-Goku then kills the real Goku (trapped in a vegetable's body) with Kamehameha. Interestingly, Ginyu-Goku shouldn't be able to kill Goku-Vegeta. Vegeta has a naturally higher power level than Goku, and Dragon Ball Z Shows that Ginyu has no way of using Goku's full power.
