There were some big surprises at tonight's Xbox Games Showcase, including the announcement that Clockwork Revolution won't be available on PlayStation when it launches next year.
It's always this time of year in the gaming industry, the last week or so has been rammed with pretty big announcements and reveals. PlayStation kicked things off with a stacked state of play, which then had to be the best Summer Game Fest showcase we've had in a while. And now, things Finally Come closer with the Xbox Games Showcase.
Before heading into the show, there were only two games confirmed to appear, Fable and Gears of War: E-Day (which is getting its own dedicated section), with several other games seemingly the only obvious choices. Even with some speculation, there were also many surprises, one of the most notable being that Clockwork Revolution is an Xbox console exclusive.

At the beginning of the Xbox Game Showcase, it was confirmed that Gears of War: E-Day will not launch on PlayStation as previously suggested, as it is now an Xbox console exclusive. It seemed like it might be the only game to get special treatment, but it turns out that's not the case.

Towards the end of the show, Clockwork Revolution got a lengthy gameplay showcase that continued to show that it is one of the Xbox's most promising games.
