New Diablo 4 bug fix can make players immortal
The latest update for Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred aims to solve a major issue with a spell but essentially makes players immortal.
Diablo 4's Paladin is the only class not to beat Pit Tier 150 in Season 13.
On Helltides' Pit Leaderboard for Season 13, the Paladin is officially the only class that hasn't recorded a Tier 150 run. This essentially means that Paladin is the worst class Diablo 4 Season 13, everyone else is embracing it in the current meta. That's not to say there aren't powerful paladin builds Diablo 4. But to push the very limits of the game's difficulty, at that moment using this category is not viable. At the time of writing, the highest Paladin build in Season 13 is at Tier 146, and even that was at a relatively slow 13 minutes and 29 seconds. For reference, not only did every other class have a recorded Tier 150 run, but they all managed it faster than the current highest paladin pit run.

It's a bit surprising to see Paladin so far behind in the meta in Season 13. It is worth remembering. In seasons 11 and 12, Paladin was the best class Diablo 4. As expected, new classes are usually overpowered when they are first introduced. And when a class dominates the meta, nerfs are pretty standard too, but to see it go from the best to the worst class in one season is definitely a big surprise.
Diablo 4 Season 13 is the first season Lord of Hate expansion. As a result, many of the game's classes have been buffed to extremely powerful levels, allowing them to meet much higher pit tiers than before. It's worth noting that, prior to Season 13, no class had managed to beat The Pit at Tier 150 since Season 7, so the fact that seven out of eight in the last season achieved it indicates a very powerful meta overall. It will be very interesting to see if this changes for season 14.

Diablo 4's Season 14 is expected to launch on June 30, marking a return to traditional seasonal mechanics. Since Season 13 was an expansion season, there wasn't a single mechanic that the game balanced around, but the upcoming Pandemonium Ruptures will change that. Latest PTR for Diablo 4 Season 14 has worried some players, so it will be interesting to see if it can live up to the popularity of Season 13.
