Steam’s summer sale is finally here, and with it, huge discounts on everything from major triple-A releases to niche indie titles. Typically, the sale will run for about two weeks, giving you plenty of time to grab any deals you're interested in before they're gone.
That said, with hundreds of games on sale, it can be difficult to track down all the good deals, especially if they weren't already on your wish list. For that reason, we've compiled a list of some of the best deals you'll find at one of the best sales of the year!
The Steam Summer Sale ends July 9, 2026, 10 a.m. PT, So be sure to grab any deals you're looking at first!

Resident Evil requests
$55.99 $69.99
20 percent off might not be the best deal on this list, but given that the game is only six months old, it's still a pretty crazy deal. This is only the second time the game has gone on sale on Steam since its release, the first being as part of Capcom's own discount event earlier this month, so I don't expect to see it this low anytime soon.
This list contains games Listed in order of current price at time of saleDiscount percentage or whether one game is better than another.

Steam Machine performance can't keep up with the PS5 Pro despite the significantly higher price tag
You'd expect more from a vapor machine given the price difference, but it doesn't sound like you'll get it.

Baldur's Gate 3
$44.99 $59.99
I doubt I need to tell you what this game is, but if you haven't played this 2023 winner of the year yet, now is the time to grab it. $45 may still seem steep compared to the other discounts included in this sale, but BG3 Steam hasn't been more than 25 percent off in its entire lifetime, so this is the best deal you'll find.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
35.99 44.99
Considering Clair Obscur is 2025's hottest award winner, I'd be surprised if you haven't picked it up yet and given it a shot. If this game is beyond your general interest, it's definitely worth playing and you can pick it up right now for 20 percent off.
17
Border 4
$34.99 $69.99
Even though it's been out for less than a year, you can currently get Borderlands 4 for its lowest price ever on Steam, 50 percent off! That said, if you're also missing Borderlands 3, You can buy a bundle of B3 and B4 cheaper than you can get B4 by itself.
16
Elden Ring Nightreign
$29.99 $39.99
This is the third time that Nightreign has gone on sale since its release, and while the price isn't lower than previous sales, it's still a great deal for this standalone adventure set in the world of one of the best games of the past decade.
15
Kingdom Come Redemption 2
$23.99 $59.99
While it didn't beat out Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 at the 2025 Game Awards, this GOTY nominee still earned its spot among the best of 2025, and now you can get it for more than half its original launch price.
