Recent additions of wishlist filters for Xbox Microsoft has revealed the most highly-anticipated games coming to the console. Xbox's top wishlist games include a mix of big third-party releases and massive first-party games.
Xbox has seen a major change in direction since its new leadership took over in early 2026. Asha Sharma officially took over as the CEO of Xbox on February 20, succeeding the longest-serving Xbox head Phil Spencer in Xbox history. Sharma has helped institute some big changes across the board for Xbox, from lowering the price of Game Pass to moving Xbox towards high-profile exclusives and away from multi-platform releases. Now, a new filter added to the Xbox Store shows which upcoming games are making Xbox fans the most excited.

Metro 2039, Hello: Campaign Evolvedand Euro Truck Simulator 2 Round out the top 5 most wishlisted games on Xbox. Other sports that sit within the top 10 include: Pokemon Developer Game Freak's Animal of Reincarnation, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantisand Minecraft Dungeons 2. The list only counts the base versions of each game, some also have premium versions exclusive to the Xbox Store.

The most wishlisted games on Xbox include many expected entries at the top of the list. Grand Theft Auto 6 Rockstar's newest open-world game has easily become the hottest story in the gaming industry, breaking records and winning awards even before its full release. Multiple first-party Microsoft games appear on the list, too fable, helloand State of Decay 3 All seeing high wish list totals among fans on Xbox. Several other in-development Microsoft games also appeared outside the top 10, including Xbox exclusives Revolution of the clock and Gears of War: E-Day.
