WWE 2K26 has officially teased some new content coming with its WrestleMania 42 DLC. Visual Concepts will add new arenas to the game with the WrestleMania DLC, including designs for Night 1 and Night 2 of WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. New versions of Cody Rhodes, Alexa Bliss, and Liv Morgan are all coming as part of the DLC. Liv Morgan's WrestleMania 42 variant will also include her new entrance theme, “Trouble”, which she debuted at the event. WWE 2K26The WrestleMania DLC is scheduled to be released on August 19, available for $9.99.

WrestleMania 42 DLC highlights some of the most important storylines from WWE's biggest annual event. Night 1's main event saw Cody Rhodes defend the SmackDown Undisputed WWE Championship against fan-favorite WWE star Randy Orton, with Rhodes retaining the title. Alexa Bliss appeared during Night 1 with tag team partner Charlotte Flair in a fatal four-way match for the WWE Women's Tag Championship, although the pair were ultimately defeated by the team of Brie Bella and Paige. Liv Morgan was also involved in her own title bout during WrestleMania 42, defeating Stephanie Walker for the Raw Women's Championship.

WWE 2K26 Recent weeks have been bringing fans a lot of unique DLC content with several unexpected roster additions. The June 2026 release of Ringside Pass Season 3 welcomed the unexpected debut of Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnik as a playable character, available as a surprise inclusion in the Battle Pass. Based on her appearance since her WWE debut in 2000, a new version of beloved female wrestler Trish Stratus is expected to officially debut as part of Ringside Pass Season 4.
WWE 2K26 The addition of more popular wrestlers to the game looks set to keep fans busy with its future ringside passes. Along with the previously-mentioned Trish Stratus version, the start of Ringside Pass Season 4 on July 22 brings the release of fan-favorite tag team The Hardy Boyz, with both Jeff and Matt Hardy joining the match. Some of WWE's newest superstars will also be making their first appearance WWE 2K franchise as DLC in later seasons, including Dannhausen debuting in Season 5 and Royce Keys in Season 6.
