Honestly, Odysseus would be a much less interesting character if he was just a great warrior trying to get home. His journey lasts because he can't always resist proving how smart he is, getting the last word, or making choices that satisfy him in the moment. He can survive demons, gods, war and the sea, but surviving himself is often the hardest part.
Logan has his own version of that problem, as his rage helps him survive and threatens to make every fight worse than it needs to be. Wolverine can heal from almost any wound, yet the rage and guilt beneath all that adamantium follows him wherever he goes. Like Odysseus, he is often at his most impressive and most difficult to appreciate at the same time.

Heroes weren't always expected to be kind, polished, or easy to admire, and they certainly weren't required to give speeches about hope before every battle. I mean, that audience means a lot to this version of Wolverine. Showing up for people the odyssey Already ready to sit through a big, serious story about a warrior carrying the consequences of war home on an almost impossible journey. A trailer about another battle-scarred hero who can't escape his past doesn't really feel out of place.

Marvel's Wolverine Almost any major movie could have played this year, but Christopher Nolan's the odyssey One that reinforces its entire message.
