The leaked title of Mukti basically confirms its story

As someone who thinks he's the greatest Kingdom Come: Redemption Ever the fan, I wake up every morning hoping to hear more news about the next game in the franchise. So, imagine my excitement when I was greeted today by an apparent leak regarding the title of another entry, which is supposed to be. Kingdom Come: Salvation instead Kingdom Come: Redemption 3As I suspected at first. gave way Kingdom Come: Redemption 2 finished, Henry's story in the first two games, Tom McKay's final mocap session for the series, and the fact that Warhorse deliberately called the next game “new”. come to the kingdom Adventure” when they first announced it, I had a strong feeling that the series would pivot in some drastic way.

However, that doesn't mean anything else come to the kingdom The game won't see the narrative abandoned in favor of something entirely new just yet, especially considering Warhorse intends to release another entry within the next year or two. What I mean, first, is that this purpose for such a quick turnaround means another come to the kingdom Once again will be set in medieval Bohemia, as Warhorse will not necessarily be forced to rebuild a completely new world and therefore will be able to get the game on the shelves much faster. Another variable to consider, though, is the leaked title itself. If the newly filed trademark that leaked title actually belongs to another come to the kingdom The game, then “liberation” all but confirms its story.

Kingdom Come: Salvation will probably be about saving Wenceslas

The most obvious explanation for the word “salvation” is that the next game will likely be about saving King Wenceslas, which has technically been the driving force behind the franchise's overarching political conflict in the early going. Henry's personal journey may have started with the destruction of Skalitz and his desire to avenge his parents, but everything happening around him is a result of Sigismund's attempts to capture Wenceslas, invade Bohemia, and secure the kingdom for himself. That conflict doesn't magically disappear at the end Kingdom Come: Redemption 2either Indeed, the sequel ends with Wenceslaus still absent and imprisoned, leaving the series' most important political problem unresolved.

Yes, Henry and company manage to hit Sigismund well enough before the credits roll. After looting his silver reserves and rescuing captured lords from Kutenberg, the group retreated to Suchdol, survived another siege, and eventually forced Sigismund and his army to leave Bohemia for a time. However, that victory temporarily removes Sigismund from the board. It doesn't restore Wenceslaus to the throne, and it certainly doesn't get him out of captivity. But, while Kingdom Come: Redemption 2 Covering the story of Henry's revenge more definitively than the first game, it stops short of resolving the conflict that was responsible for that story in the first place.

It would already save a natural direction of Wenceslaus for another play, but history makes the setup feel almost too perfect to ignore. Wenceslaus historically escaped his imprisonment in Vienna on November 11, 1403, a few months after historical events turned favorable for the warhorse. Kingdom Come: Redemption 2. More importantly, he did so with the help of John II of Liechtenstein, who is not a random historical figure Warhorse needs to introduce from scratch. John already plays the lead role Redemption 2where Henry warns him of Sigismund's plans and helps him survive. After fleeing Vienna, Wenceslaus was escorted through Mikulov, met his supporters in Kuttenberg, and finally returned to Prague at Christmas. In other words, Warhorse has the events, supporting characters, and locations necessary to keep the story moving forward.

Of course, it doesn't make sense Kingdom Come: Salvation A straightforward prison-break game is required, nor does it guarantee that Henry can climb through the window and personally escort Wenceslas back to Bohemia. The story could follow John of Liechtenstein, introduce a new protagonist working alongside him, or use the king's escape as the start of a much larger campaign about restoring order to the kingdom. Still, if the leaked title is legitimate, “Liberation” feels too deliberate to ignore. The first two games may end with Sigismund's campaign suffering a major setback, but Bohemia itself is not yet saved. Its rightful king remains in captivity, its political future remains uncertain, and history says that the escape of Wenceslaus is just around the corner.

Hussite wars are still possible, but now less likely

Before this apparent title leak, my original prediction was another come to the kingdom The game will move on to the Hussite Wars, and I still think that period would be an almost perfect fit for the series. After the death of Wenceslaus in 1419, conflict broke out and Bohemia was plunged into a great religious and political crisis, complete with rival factions, huge battles, and some of the most recognizable figures in Czech history. This would allow Warhorse to remain in medieval Bohemia while giving the next game a different atmosphere, as Henry grew older, the political landscape would change, and the relatively contained struggle against Sigismund escalated into more chaos.

However, if another come to the kingdom Adventure is truly called Kingdom Come: SalvationThat theory now feels much less likely – though certainly not impossible. “Liberation” could easily carry religious connotations and point to Jan Hus, the growing reform movement, and the ideological divisions that would eventually lead to the Hussite wars. At the same time, jumping directly to 1419 requires skipping about 16 years to the end of Warhorse. Redemption 2While Wenceslaus' release from captivity happened months later and the title fits more immediately, literally. The Hussite Wars may still be where the franchise eventually goes, but “Salvation” now seems more like a bridge to get there than a game that ultimately puts players in the middle.

At the end of the day, Kingdom Come: Salvation Still only an obvious title leak, so there's every chance that Warhorse could come along and this whole theory seems ridiculous. Still, when the first two come to the kingdom The games leave Wenceslaus in captivity, introduce the man who historically helped him escape, and while that escape actually concludes only a few months ago, “Salvation” feels like more than a random subtitle. It seems like a natural continuation of the story Warhorse is already telling, even if Henry is no longer at the center of it.

I'd still love to see the series eventually make its way to the Hussite Wars, and I find it hard to believe that Warhorse will ignore that period forever, but saving Wenceslaus seems like a much closer destination now. After all, the fact that one leaked word sent me far down the historical rabbit hole is why I love this franchise as much as I do. Now, I need a warhorse to hurry up and tell me if I'm completely right or spectacularly wrong.
