The campaign in development may have just teased the Halo 2 remake

After introducing a few shots of the idyllic locale, the camera pans across the halo ring far into the sky, and a large explosion can be seen halfway through the array. Johnson leans forward, lowers his orange shades, and begins to utter a clarion call as the UNSC Pelican dropship flies overhead. “Well, that's my cue,” Johnson says, standing up. Johnson walks towards the pelican, but stops in his tracks, looks directly into the camera, and says “See you in the sequel”, after which the camera dramatically cuts to black.

The camera follows the Guilty Spark's flight towards the orange planet, and shows the Forerunner monitor approaching a high-tech structure suspended in mid-air.
