Kenpachi Zaraki is the Captain of Squad 11, making him one of the strongest Soul Reapers in Bleach, and now that he has unlocked his full power, he might be the Gotei 13’s most powerful Captain. When Kenpachi uses his Bankai, he becomes an Oni-like berserker with immense cutting power. Kenpachi’s Bankai can cut god-like beings in half, but there are anime characters that can beat it.
Most of the anime characters who can beat Kenpachi’s Bankai are god-tier beings in their respective universes. One character is an ordinary human, but he can stop Kenpachi with his overpowered Devil Fruit. Kenpachi’s Bankai is so strong, that in some cases, only someone with the power to vaporize planets or indestructible objects can take him down.

Estarossa From The Seven Deadly Sins Can Destroy Kenpachi By Reflecting His Bankai’s Raw Power Back At Him
Estarossa is a hybrid of the Demon and Goddess Clans, making him one of the strongest beings in The Seven Deadly Sins. He can destroy most beings with a beam of light or black demonic hellfire. Thanks to his Grace, Estarossa can harness the power of the sun and create miniature suns that can incinerate opponents. These techniques may be powerful, but Kenpachi would not be fazed by them in his Bankai form.
Unfortunately for Kenpachi, Estarossa possesses a version of the Full Counter ability which reflects physical damage back at an opponent. The actual damage is multiplied many times over. This means that if Kenpachi cuts Estarossa with his Bankai while Full Counter is active, the reflected attack’s damage will likely be amplified to the point Kenpachi’s body will be blown apart.

Anos Voldigoad From The Misfit Of Demon King Academy Can Destroy Kenpachi’s Bankai With His Eyes And Demonic Sword
Anos Voldigoad is the main protagonist of The Misfit of Demon King Academy, and the argument can be made that he is the most overpowered character in anime. His power is destruction itself, and he can use various high-level spells similar to Kido. Anos can use time magic to his advantage, and if he wanted to, he could wipe out most of the Soul Reapers by simply using the sound of his heartbeat.
If Kenpachi charges at Anos in his Bankai form, Anos can destroy him by just looking at him. Anos possesses the Magic Eyes of Destruction, which allow him to destroy anything in his field of vision. Even if Kenpachi can outrun Anos’ gaze, his Bankai cannot compete with Anos’ demon sword. When Anos summons Venuzdonoa, he can destroy anything in existence, including indestructible objects and immortal beings. Not only would Venuzdonoa cut Kenpachi’s Oni body in half with one swing, it would instantly shatter Nozarashi’s blade.

Pernida From Bleach Can Tear Kenpachi’s Bankai Form Apart With Its Nerve Endings
Pernida believed it was a Quincy, but it was actually the Left Arm of the Soul King, who served as the God of Bleach‘s universe. It governed progress and evolution, which is why it quickly adapted to an enemy’s cutting power and abilities. Pernida can theoretically become immune to Kenpachi’s Bankai slashes, and even if it did get cut into pieces, each piece can replicate, meaning Kenpachi would end up fighting more Pernida’s.
Kenpachi lost his right arm when he attacked Pernida in the Soul King’s Palace, and he would have been killed by the godly limb if Captain Kurotsuchi had not intervened. This happened because Pernida used The Compulsory to shoot its nerves into Kenpachi’s body. Even if Kenpachi charges at it with his Bankai’s full power, Pernida can shoot its nerves into him and tear his body apart in the blink of an eye.

Trafalgar D. Water Law From One Piece Can Disassemble Kenpachi’s Bankai Transformation With His Devil Fruit
Trafalgar D. Water Law is a former Warlord of the Sea and a member of the Worst Generation, meaning he is one of the most notorious pirate captains in One Piece‘s current pirate era. Even with Haki, Law would normally not stand a chance against Kenpachi’s base form, let alone his Bankai. That said, Law still holds the upper hand because of his Devil Fruit.
The Op-Op Fruit is one of the few Devil Fruits that can kill in one-shot because it allows Law to manipulate reality within a spherical area of his creation. He can avoid all of Kenpachi’s attacks by teleporting to another location, or he can swap places with another person so Kenpachi attacks them instead. With one slash, Law can disassemble Kenpachi’s Oni form with surgical precision and separate his limbs so he can no longer move or fight.

Gohan From Dragon Ball Super Can Vaporize Kenpachi’s Bankai Transformation With A Single Attack
Gohan may not be the main character of the Dragon Ball franchise, but he has the potential to be the strongest mortal in the multiverse. He is a highly skilled martial artist with superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes, meaning he can give Kenpachi the kind of fight he lives for. Base Gohan can match base Kenpachi blow for blow, but Super Saiyan Gohan can probably knock Kenpachi out with a few punches.
Kenpachi’s Bankai cut through a god-tier being like Gerald Valkyrie in half, so it should be able to do the same to Super Saiyan Gohan. Fortunately, Gohan has unlocked his Beast transformation, which means his power level has now reached god-tier. Beast Gohan can wipe out an entire solar system with Ki blasts in minutes, and he is fast enough to dodge Kenpachi’s Bankai. As long as Gohan dodges Kenpachi’s Oni attack, he can vaporize the Soul Reaper Captain with a Masenko blast.

Ryomen Sukuna From Jujutsu Kaisen Can Slice Kenpachi Into Pieces With His Overpowered Domain Expansion
Sukuna is the main villain of Jujutsu Kaisen, and he would likely be thrilled to fight Kenpachi’s Bankai form. He is regarded as the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer in history, which is understandable given his vast reserves of Cursed Energy. Sukuna can cheerfully obliterate other Special Grade opponents with ease, and he defeated Satoru Gojo’s Limitless Technique, which was presumed to be invincible.
Dismantle is Sukuna’s signature Cursed Technique and it produces high-speed slashes that can slice through Kenpachi’s base form. If Sukuna wishes to end the fight right away, he can use his Malevolent Shrine Domain Expansion to trap Kenpachi inside a space created with his own Cursed Energy. Even if he uses Bankai, Kenpachi’s body cannot withstand a never-ending barrage of Dismantle and Cleave slashes. He will be sliced into pieces within seconds of Malevolent Shrine’s activation.

Might Guy From Naruto Smash Kenpachi’s Body To Pieces With The Eight Inner Gates
Might Guy can use ninjutsu and genjutsu, but he prefers to rely on taijutsu during combat. Thanks to years of intense training, he became one of the strongest taijutsu users in Naruto, if not the strongest. Guy’s standard taijutsu would not be enough to injure basic Kenpachi, let alone his Bankai transformation, but that is what the Eight Gates are for.
When these gates are opened, Guy gradually gains access to more of his body’s chakra. If Guy opens the 6th or 7th Gate, he should be fast enough to overwhelm Kenpachi’s Shikai attacks. Guy would probably need to use all Eight Gates against Kenpachi’s Bankai. While in this state, Guy’s power surpasses that of the Five Kage, and his attacks are fast enough and strong enough to warp space. If he hits Kenpachi’s Bankai form once, he can land successive blows until Kenpachi’s body is smashed to pieces by the immense trauma.

Saitama From One-Punch Man Can Obliterate Kenpachi’s Bankai With A Single Punch
Saitama is the star of One-Punch Man, and although he looks like a comic relief character, he is actually one of the most powerful beings in anime history. Only a handful of anime characters have killed an actual god, and Saitama is one of them. Thanks to his innate abilities and training, Saitama possesses immeasurable superhuman strength, speed, and reflexes. His durability is just as impressive, as he has withstood attacks from opponents who can wipe out cities without suffering any serious damage.
Like the name of the series suggests, Saitama can defeat anyone with a single punch. There have been instances where someone has survived the initial punch, but that is because Saitama intentionally held back. No matter how fast Kenpachi is when he uses Bankai, Saitama can dodge his attacks as if they were moving in slow motion. He could simply block the sword with his fist and shatter the blade. At the end of the day, Saitama simply needs to land a serious punch to the head or torso to take Kenpachi down.
