The world of One Piece is primarily composed of islands, and most of these islands represent an individual nation or kingdom. A lot of these nations are affiliated with the World Government, but many remain independent. Each nation has its own ruler and military, but certain nations stand above the rest in terms of overall manpower and strength.
The strongest nations in One Piece can fend off an invasion as long as they do not have to deal with chemical weapons or an unexpected Yonko-level threat. These nations have at least one powerful ship in their navy, as well as several powerful fighters. Some of these nations have soldiers with superhuman physical abilities, and others have powerful Haki and Devil Fruit users. One of these nations can even destroy the world if they wanted to.

Kano Country Wields The Strength Of The Entire Chinjao Family
Kano Country is located in the West Blue, and its architecture and culture seem to be inspired by ancient China. It is affiliated with the World Government, and King Ramen was one of the 50 monarchs who attended the last Reverie. Unlike most kings, Ramen actually cares about his nation’s well-being. Kano Country warred with other nations for years because Doflamingo sold weapons to their enemies from Dressrosa.
Despite all this conflict, Kano Country still stands, which is a testament to their military strength. It helps that Kano Country also has the power of the Chinjao Family’s Happo Navy. This gang of pirates consists of over 1,000 members, making it one of the largest crews in the world. They are loyal to Kano Country and played a huge role in ending Doflamingo’s weapons trade. Their current leader was part of the nation’s Reverie delegation, while their previous leader clashed evenly with Vice Admiral Garp in the past many times.

Amazon Lily Is Home To The Infamous Kuja Tribe, Which Is Ruled By A Former Warlord Of The Sea
Amazon Lily, otherwise known as Maiden Island, is located in the Calm Belt, a dangerous stretch of ocean devoid of wind and currents. It is also filled with the world’s largest Sea Kings. It is home to the Kuja Tribe, which is made up entirely of warrior women. The Kuja live in relative peace because the Calm Belt keeps them isolated from the outside world, but each member trains to fight with a sword and bow.
The strongest members of the Kuja Tribe become part of the Kuja Pirates, and the crew’s captain also serves as Amazon Lily’s Empress. Boa Hancock is a former Warlord of the Sea who can use all three types of Haki. She is one of the few female characters who can surpass Big Mom. Hancock alone was able to hold back a Marine invasion, but the rest of the Kuja held their own pretty well.

Zou Is At its Most Powerful When Its Warriors Enter Their Sulong Forms
Zou is an island located on the back of Zunesha, the colossal elephant that was once affiliated with Joy Boy 800 years ago. It now roams the New World as part of some unknown punishment. The Mink Tribe is a race of humanoid beings with animal features, and most of them live on Zou. Each Mink possesses physical strength that surpasses a normal human’s, and many of them are skilled fighters.
Some Minks are faster and more agile than others, while others are bulkier and inherently stronger and more durable. Attacking Zou is difficult because every Mink has the natural ability to produce electricity. A contingent of Beast Pirates who were led by Jack, a Yonko Commander, could not beat Zou’s warriors until they used poison. Zou’s military strength is at its peak during the full moon, because every Mink can enter their Sulong Form, which significantly enhances all of their abilities. If that were not enough, Zunesha can defend Zou, as a single swing of its trunk can obliterate multiple ships at once.

Germa 66 is the kingdom’s secret military arm, and it includes an army of clone soldiers who will do anything for the Vinsmoke Family.
Judge is the head of the Vinsmoke Family, and although he is not genetically enhanced, he is a strong fighter who could injure Sanji. The princess and princes are all genetically enhanced though, which means they all have superhuman physical abilities and a near-indestructible skeleton. Each member of the Vinsmoke family has a Raid Suit that further enhances their strength to the point that only two family members are needed to defeat a small country.

The Land of Wano has existed for more than 900 years. It has never been affiliated with the World Government, and they have never tried to conqeur it because of its natural defenses and legendary military reputation. Wano’s entire military consists of skilled and honorable samurai. During the Onigashima Raid, these Samurai held back most of the Beast Pirates’ forces, despite being heavily outnumbered.
Momonosuke is now the Shogun of Wano, and although he is not as powerful as his legendary father, he possesses the power of an artificial copy of Kaido’s Devil Fruit. The Yakuza may be part of Wano’s underground, but they will lay their lives on the line for the country as well. The surviving members of the Nine Red Scabbards are all master swordsmen, while Yamato, who wields Wano’s mythical guardian Devil Fruit and advanced Conqueror’s Haki, helps to defend Wano with two of Kaido’s former lieutenants. Totto Land Is Ruled By The Charlotte Family, Who Were Once A Feared Yonko Crew
Totto Land is an archipelago in the New World made up of 35 islands, and it is a nation founded by Charlotte Linlin, the captain of the Big Mom Pirates. Linlin ruled Totto Land as its queen, and her goal was to turn it into a utopia where every race could live together. Totto land has hundreds of soldiers, but its greatest military strength is the Charlotte Family.
Each island in Totto Land is governed by one of Linlin’s many children, most of whom are strong and dangerous Devil Fruit users. The Sweet Commanders are one of the strongest trios in the Grand Line, and their Haki was potent enough to hurt Gear 4 Luffy. The Ryugu Kingdom Is Filled With Empowered Fishmen And It Possesses An Ancient Weapon
Fish-Man Island is ruled by King Neptune and the Ryugu Kingdom. It is now a World Government affiliated nation, but given the fact the World Nobles still take fishmen and mermaids as slaves, that alliance may not last. The Ryugu Kingdom has a population of roughly 5 million, and at any given time, it can theoretically raise a fighting force of at least 100,000.
The average fish-man and mermaid is 10 times stronger than a normal human, but more experienced fighters are even stronger. An army of fishmen would be able to conquer most kingdoms in the New World. The Ryugu Kingdom also has Poseidon, one of the Ancient Weapons from the Void Century. Princess Shirahoshi is Poseidon’s current incarnation, and she has the power to control the world’s Sea Kings. These gigantic monsters can sink entire islands, meaning the Ryugu Kingdom technically has the power to destroy the world, but only if Shirahoshi is willing.

Elbaph Is Considered The Strongest Country In The World Because Of Its Mighty Giant Warriors
Elbaph is a nation in the New World that is primarily inhabited by giants, and it is often considered the strongest country in the world because of its fierce warriors and battle-loving culture. A single pirate crew from Elbaph terrorized the New World for years, and its former King is one of the strongest characters in history. Even Imu Nerona, the King of the World, desires Elbaph’s power because the giants can tip the scales of the final war.
Even without Haki, a full-grown giant possesses superhuman strength and impressive durability. Most giants can destroy a Marine battleship with a single swing of their sword or axe. A crew of giants can sink dozens of battleships in minutes. Loki is the prince of Elbaph, and he would be broken in another anime universe because of his mythical Devil Fruit. Loki alone can vaporize a castle with his hammer, and he can wipe out a kingdom with an energy blast from his beast form. The reason no one has conquered Elbaph is because no ordinary military stands a chance against its warriors.
