party of Final Fantasy 10 Defeats Sin for good, stops the cycle, and saves Yuna from the terrible fate of sacrificing herself. However, there is still a price to pay for victory. Because Tidus is revealed as an invitee, like the Aeons, a plot point brilliantly foreshadowed is that since he is the only cast member with a changeable name, like the Aeons, he must return to where he came from.
Players witness a heartbreaking cutscene where Yuna tries to capture Tidus, only to discover that he is incorporeal. Yuna exchanges one last “I love you” before Tidus hugs her and jumps into the sky. It's not all bad though. Yuna addresses the citizens of Spira and resolves to rebuild the world now that sin is gone. This one can get a bittersweet ending, but maybe the post-credits scene and Final Fantasy 10-2 Things can still change…

While the story is a little rough around the edges, there's no denying that the ending Final Fantasy 15 Hit like a truck. Towards the end of The Long Journey, Noctis must sleep inside the crystal for 10 years to absorb the power he needs to defeat Ardyn and stop the demons. However, this is at the cost of his own life. While a self-immolation plot isn't particularly groundbreaking, FF 15The focus on brotherhood and Noctis' shared relationship with Ignis, Prompto, and Gladio makes this abandonment heartbreaking.
Square Enix decided to break hearts a little further by letting players choose their favorite photo taken by Prompto. This photo is fondly admired by Noctis and Luna Freya in the afterlife. It's a sweet moment until the player uses a sealer image like a cup noodle image.
