In fact, Knight revealed that the team would “occasionally pull an asset as a placeholder or model of new stuff” but mostly, the code was used to see how things worked and then reworked to fit Anvil Engine's new technology.
“Sometimes we might pull in an asset as a placeholder or something to model new stuff. But often we just look at the code to see how things work, to look at the data, to see how some things worked, to learn some secrets. But we have to effectively rebuild.”
