Battlefield 6 has recently announced a game mode called Casual Breakthrough, and it's now accessible from the main menu. For players looking to raise their level Battlefield 6 Battle passes, weapons, and profiles, this mod can be a good choice for normal games.
one of many Battlefield 6 Late conflicts have been a major problem for Portal XP since Battlefield Studios promised that player-made experiences would provide full experience points. This was back as a result of several XP farm lobbies where players battled bots for full XP, and it's been a constant talking point among fans ever since. For some players, Battlefield 6 Multiplayer matches can be very intense and tense due to the game's many close-quarters maps, and bot lobbies have been a way to achieve a more informal look to the game while still being developed.
While there are workarounds for this, such as players regularly turning off crossplay to bring themselves into bot games so they can still progress, Battlefield Studios has clearly recognized the desire for less intense gameplay. The new casual breakthrough game mode was detailed in X, described as “a more relaxed way to play while still progressing and completing challenges”. It offers the following features:
-
Small player teams of 8 real players on each side.
-
Teams are primarily filled with bots, with 16 bots per side.
-
Full progression, with players able to grind harder Battlefield 6 Class challenges while earning weapons, profiles, and battle pass XP.
-
“Balanced XP,” which grants full XP for killing one of the 8 real players and reduced XP for killing one of the 16 bots.
-
Two maps, those of Cairo and the Siege of the Empire State.
Will Battlefield 6's Casual Breakthrough Mode Sufficient?
While the mod is undoubtedly a nice addition that could serve as a solid option for fans looking for a more relaxed shooter, it's unlikely to be enough to satisfy any players outraged by the Portal changes. For starters, the mode being limited to just two of the game's 10 maps could see it get stale sooner rather than later, though BF Studios appears to have teased more maps for Casual Breakthrough, describing Cairo and the Empire State as “preliminary” maps. Additionally, fans of other game modes like Escalation and Conquest still need a playlist like this one. The players pointed out Battlefield 2042The option to play co-op with friends against a team full of bots would be ideal.
A major factor that will determine the mod's success is how heavily XP is reduced for eliminating bots. There has also been some pushback from players who don't want to see bots Battlefield 6 All in all, while crying out for more closed-arms playlists. However, those who seek a Titanfall– Like battlefield Mach wants to try a casual breakthrough.
