DICE has released a new hotfix for Battlefield 6 Which makes some temporary adjustments to XP in the shooter's newest game mode, Strikepoint. The studio didn't detail exactly what the changes were, but it's believed to be due to a recently discovered exploit. To combat this, DICE says it has made temporary adjustments to XP in the mode until a long-term solution can be found. The studio didn't mention the exploit, but said it has identified an issue affecting the amount of XP in StrikePoint.
Unlike the previous XP bot farm issue, this new exploit requires a bit more work. According to a user on the EA forum, players were able to use XP on strikepoints if one team left the game at halftime, when the score is 0-5. The team that stays in the match receives a large amount of XP, some report up to 2.5 million if the conditions are met repeatedly. Thankfully, it looks like this is no longer possible, as DICE has fixed the problem Battlefield 6 Update on November 1. However, a permanent solution is still being worked on.
It also coincided with the beginning of change Battlefield 6New casual breakthrough mode on November 1st. Like war zone's casual playlists, this new mode fills most of the lobby with bots that reduce the intensity of those looking for a more “relaxed” way to play. In total, Casual Breakthrough features 16 real players (8 per team) and 32 bots (16 per team). While players can still earn Career XP, Weapon XP, Battle Pass XP, and completed challenges, there are XP subtracted from any bot-related actions. Eliminating real players will still award the full amount of XP.
