When Bend Studio's cancellation of the Live-Service game was first reported, it was further revealed that PlayStation was working closely with the studio to determine whether to take on another project. Bend Studios spent several years developing its now-cancelled live-service title, and if its next game should be of similar scope, fans will learn about it well after the PS5's lifecycle ends. Thankfully, Bend Studios remains confident in its ability to deliver a great experience, and with PlayStation seemingly slowing down its direct-to-service plans, it could very well be that the studio's next game is single-player.
