What to choose in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader – Rykad Minoris
Can't decide what to do in Rykad Minoris? Here are all the results for this pick in Warhammer 40K Rogue Trader.
While each companion has their own storyline, five of these available companions can also be romantically pursued to add more story to the player's adventure. Players may be curious to know how they can start a romance with each of these friends, and which option is truly the best.
Updated by Marc Santos on July 6, 2026: We've updated this list to include the special ally Proctor Solomorne Anthar from the Lex Imperialis DLC. He's one of the more emotionally complex dudes in the game, and it leads to some pretty interesting events if you decide to choose him as your romantic partner.

Marazhai
bad boy
-
She can be romanced by a male or female evil merchant.
-
After stopping Marazhai from attacking the player's ship, he will eventually appear at Rogue Trader's office to pursue romance.
-
Players must stay in their roles (whether dominant or submissive) or Marazhai will break ties with them.
Marazhai is not a good Drukhari. He is violent, tries to kill the player, and destroys the player's land. However, some people are really into it. If Rogue Trader can look past Marazhai's glaring red flags, they'll finally get her on board for a fun romance.
Saving his life will make him indebted to the player, which will eventually begin a soulful journey that some players will be excited to explore. It will be up to the player to determine who is the dominant party in that relationship.

Yerlit
Mutual respect before romance
-
She can be romanced by a male or female evil merchant.
-
Players must show respect to the Yerlit and refrain from flirting if they want a chance at romance. This may take some time.
-
Flirting with Yrliet doesn't make her like the player, just be nice to her or expect her to fall in love.
Yrliet is another Xenos, but unlike Marazhai, players may have a difficult time trying to romance her. This is because in order to successfully initiate a romantic relationship with her, the player must avoid flirting with her if they hope to gain her trust.
Xenos are seen as beings alien to humanity, making Yrliet completely abandon the idea of romance with the Rogue Trader. This can become a theme even after the player has started a romance, as too much intimacy can turn him off. Yrliet is still an interesting choice with a thoughtful story about ostracizing her people who she only wants to help, as well as giving players a romance that isn't just intimacy.

J
A very flirty option
-
She can be romanced by a male or female evil merchant.
-
After recruiting Jae, players can ask if she's seeing someone to get the romance going.
-
It's incredibly easy for Jay to romance some things that can make him upset.
Jae is the perfect choice for any player looking to be with a fun-loving woman. She treats Rogue Trader with respect, but speaks to them incredibly casually, making her the perfect choice for any player who doesn't want to be on a pedestal all the time.
However, this doesn't mean that players won't offer gifts to Jae, as the player can give Jae an entire planet as a romantic gesture that he's sure to approve of. Other than that, Jay is one of the easiest characters to romance as she approves of almost anything and will happily reciprocate the player's feelings as long as they help in Footfall.

Kibelah
Breaking the mold and starting a romance
-
Kibellah can be romanced by male or female disease traders.
-
Romance can begin quickly within the ritual of bonding work.
-
By treating Kibelah as a person rather than a tool, players will have a better relationship.
Along with the regular romances in the rogue merchantLove the DLCs Zero Shadows The game has not only added new features but also has a completely new romance that players can embark on not only in this new DLC but also through Rogue Trader's main story. Kibelah quickly established herself as Rogue Trader's best romance as this woman from one of the death cults was shown a new way of life.
When Kiballah entrusts his life to Rogue Trader, this player not only sets the course for the Death Cult, but also helps Kiballah define who he is as a person. In this romance, the player introduces Kibelah to the finer things in life, and can also show her the path of morality because there is more to life than murder, and love can be the way to introduce it.

Solomon
Caught between duty and true affection
-
Solomorne can be romanced by both male and female disease traders
-
After you recruit Solomon in Act 2 you can start your romance
-
Solomon is a complex character, and following him highlights both the beautiful and ugly sides of romance.
Solomon is the proctor of the Adeptus Arbites, the body responsible for enforcing the lex imperialis (aka the laws of the imperium). He's a tough, hard-boiled servant of the emperor who rarely ever goes against the rogue trader's wishes, and that's what makes him such an interesting romance target.
It would be a sin to spoil Solomon's romance path, but the players are advised to sit tight for the rollercoaster of emotions they will experience (especially if Solomon is part of the retinue during Act 3) if they decide to follow this damaged man, they are forced to choose between never loving or not. He knew he needed it.
2
Henriques
A man with a secret past
-
He can only be romanced by a female evil merchant.
-
After the fight against Aurora, players can express their feelings to Henriques by saying that they are not afraid of him personally.
-
Players should choose Dogmatic responses and make Heinrix look good, although he is easy to romance.
While mentioned in other romances rogue merchant Either a male or female can be approached by a disease trader, some romances are closed to specific sexes. One of these examples is Henriques, who is the best romantic partner for a player who chooses to play a woman.
As a member of the Inquisition, players wishing to get into Heinrix's good books will want to press the Dogmatic options when he is in the player's party. Supporting his actions throughout the game is another way for players to like Heinrix. In addition, he is very easy to fall in love with, as he loves acts of intimacy and approves of them whenever he chooses.
1
Cassia
A lovely romantic option
-
She can only be romanced by a male evil merchant.
-
Players can start romancing Cassia as soon as she's on the ship, once they choose to ask her to talk about themselves.
-
Being too forward with Cassia will cause her to break up with the player.
Of all the romances available on rogue merchantOne of the best available strictly for male Rogue Traders is the romance between them and their precious navigator, Cassia. Although her skills as a ship's navigator are vital to the survival of the player's entire fleet, a player should not focus too much on being a navigator when trying to treat Cassia as a person and romance her.
Romancing Cassia can be rather charming but also incredibly pure as she will expect the player to court her well. This means showering her with gifts as often as possible and not being too forward with intimate acts.
