Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 36 is lined up for release on July 20, 2026, 11:00 AM EST. This month's chapter is going to see the incredible setup for the big battle that unfolded in Shinju's lair in the previous chapter, as well as the new post-Mamushi arc still continuing after the kidnapping of Kashin Koji.
Boruto: TBV Chapter 36 is going to be absolutely sensational and will deliver some of the most incredible action, as well as set mind-blowing plot points. We absolutely can't wait to see what Boruto and Sarada deliver in terms of combat when they get to Hidari's base, and at the same time, what Amado plans to do with Kashin Koji's Princesine ability. All these and more are going to be addressed in this month's chapter, which we are eagerly awaiting.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 marks the beginning of the Hidari War
The most important plot point that Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter 36 is going to address the Hidari battle. In the previous chapter, Boruto Uzumaki sought out Sarada and explained his plan. Essentially, Boruto wants Sarada captured on purpose by the code and then taken to Shinju's cave. This is where Shinju and Koda intend to use Sarada as bait to lure Boruto Uzumaki. What Boruto and Sarada are planning is a reverse trap. Essentially, they want the code to lead them to Shinju's lair and then use their new powers in a battle against Shinju to eliminate the threat once and for all. It's a dangerous plan the two are pursuing, but it's one that could allow them to eliminate the threat of Shinju in one fell swoop.
Boruto: Sarada, I want you to let them catch you. He will probably take you straight to their base. But don't worry, I'll fly to you using those symbols I just gave you.
Sarada: I see, reverse trap.

While Samhita's threat looms large, Shinju Hidari is not the next in line to fall. This is why Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 is going to focus a lot on him. A conversation with Boruto was planned and then we can expect Hidari to kidnap Sarada Uchiha with a code to reveal himself. Hidari wants to consume Sarada, which is officially confirmed Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes Chapter #5 on December 20, 2023. With this great desire to consume her, the confrontation between the two will be established once again, which we are eager to see.
Hideri: My target to consume is Sarada Uchiha!
Jura: Good choice!

At the same time, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 is going to set up a moment for Boruto Uzumaki to teleport to the battlefield to take on the threat of these powerful Shinju. As he teleports to the main battlefield, we will finally witness the sensational battle after two months of waiting. In the last two months, Boruto has been without any major battle scenes due to slow production and too many performances. Along with Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha, it's time to start fighting as the showdown against Hidari begins.
Amado's research on Kashin Koji will help Kawaki
Another major plot point that Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 will officially address on July 20, 2026, is the fate of Kashin Koji. In the previous chapter, Kawaki was used by Amado to deactivate Kashin Koji and then summon him back to Konoha. Now, Kashin Koji and his abilities are in Amado's hands. For Konoha's brilliant scientist, it's a golden opportunity to see different timelines for himself and, at the same time, find out which timeline he can bring his daughter back to.
Amado: Cul de Sac, Kashin Koji!
Kawaki: Did you order him too? Mad scientist!
Amado: I'll take him to my lab using the summoning technique. Touch Todd if you don't want to be stuck here.

Amado's goal is to revive Akebi as much as possible, and by using the Prescience ability, he can figure out the best possible path to that particular plot point. Thus, Kashin Koji's prescience ability could be extracted sooner or later and then potentially be given to either Amado or Kawaki. This sets up a big buff for Kawaki, and at the same time, brings up a deadly timeline where Akebi could potentially be resurrected as Otsutsuki, setting up another major villain for the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series. We absolutely cannot wait to see how this plot develops and what happens to Kashin Koji after her kidnapping. Whether he will be reintegrated into Konoha from here or saved later by Boruto Uzumaki remains to be seen.
Big fights are lined up in the new Boruto arc on July 20, 2026
No matter how we look at it, the big exposition and build-up is over, and Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 begins to focus squarely on the major confrontations of the series. Boruto and Sarada vs Kod is likely to start in this new chapter, and we might see Jura in action, if Boruto and Sarada split up in battle. In this scenario, it is highly likely that Boruto Uzumaki will strike with Zura or Kod, and Sarada will be left alone against Hidari, which could be perfect for her character development, especially since she is fighting the blindness that comes with the use of the Mangekyo Sharingan.
Similarly, exciting things are also connected with Kawaki, especially after the kidnapping of Kashin Koji. We don't know who he's fighting and how the fight will go, but it's unlikely that Kawaki will play any fighting role in the main arc of the Boruto series. Like, one way or another, he's going to be involved in a big fight, and we absolutely can't wait to see that.
With new battles officially lined up for release this month, the Boruto franchise will ramp up and deliver non-stop action over the next few months. In doing so, it will also set up major power-ups for the main characters, especially Sarada Uchiha. More than that, it would finally allow for the return of Sasuke Uchiha if Hidari falls through in this arc, and we're eagerly awaiting that return.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 36 will be officially released on July 20, 2026, at 11 AM EST.
