He managed to change her heart through the experience, though it triggered a quirk that triggered an explosion planted in her body by All for One. However, Midoriya managed to save her, turning her into a valuable ally during the final battle.

Overhaul is one of the most diabolical villains in the series. The thought of him hurting Ari causes no end to pain to both Miryo and Midoriya, who could have stopped this villain but failed to recognize the danger. The end of the Shie Hassaikai arc involves Nighteye losing hope and suffering a mortal blow after his Foresight Quirk fails.
However, Midoriya proves him wrong by using 100% of his power to save Ari, only for the little girl's quirk to prevent any permanent damage to his body. This allowed him to go 100% with his full cowl ability, unleashing a series of hellish blows that brutally battered the enemy and inflicted a crushing defeat as Midoriya saved the day and destroyed Overhaul's diabolical gang.
3 VS Shoto Todoroki
The best fight at the UA school festival is where Todoroki finally admits his powers

The conclusion of the Extraordinary Liberation War arc showed how much Shigaraki's power had grown. He could use his Decay Quirk without touching anything, causing untold destruction that could only be stopped by Aizawa's Erasure Quirk.
Midoriya took this opportunity to beat Shigaraki as hard as he could while saving the people around him. He unlocked the float power in the process but was unable to finish the job, the interruption of Gigantomachia giving the villains all the leverage they needed to turn society against the idea of a pro hero.

Tomura and all a fuse to make for a strong opponent of Deku

Final War is one of the most bombastic arcs My Hero AcademiaFeaturing a spectacle of heroes teaming up to stop the Paranormal Liberation Front from destroying the world. To make things worse, the One for All was trying to take over Sigaraki's body, causing them to merge and form a psychotic entity that needed to be stopped by any means necessary.
With the other heroes defeated, it was up to Midoriya to save the world from this formidable threat. He pulled out all the stops, fusing two Quirks to harness blockchain power and strategically enabling Gearshift to force this volatile Shigaraki to make mistakes. With Lady Nagant's help, Deku gains the upper hand as Tomura manages to regain control of his body at the end of a brutal battle.
