Our heroes – Goku, Kaioshin and Glorio – embark on a journey through time and space using a space capsule set up by Bulma (she promised she and other long-time favorites would join them later), and the three of them talk and enter another dimension. . To the god of space and time known as Warp-sama (just in case though: Goku explained the plan by making the god of time look like a fish). The three eventually find themselves on another planet, where they hope to track down Dende and his captors.

Missing capsule

Because they are strangers and Goku doesn't have the best table manners to begin with, the three eventually end up in a bar fight during dinner, where Goku discovers that he is getting a little more used to his smaller body, and is thus capable. to move about more freely than he could before. It seems they picked the wrong gang to fight, however when they wake up, they find their space capsule stolen (although the thieves were at least kind enough to leave a note).

Without a space capsule, our heroes are unable to return to Earth (or do much else that requires long-distance travel). They start walking while they think of their next move. Goku suggests that they should all fly to make further progress, but Glorio points out that the air on this planet is heavier than on Earth, and as a result, they will tire quickly. Not only does Goku figure this out quickly, but when the monster attacks him, he finds that his reflexes are still slower than normal (probably due to the double negative of not being used to his new body and dealing with heavy air).

It's time to go shopping

Since the air is too heavy to fly around, the trio find a shop that can sell them a plane. However, the plane costs more money than you have, and consider buying stamina-restoring bugs instead (something Senju Beans would do…if everyone hadn't forgotten to bring them along for the ride). Will our heroes try their luck at buying bugs or negotiating for a plane? Does anyone care? It's all so… Oh look, Dragon Balls!

By far, this is the slowest episode Dragon Ball DAIMA We still got it. Negotiating aircraft prices and deciding how many bugs to buy is the sort of thing that made the others. Dragon Ball Space show very boring. Although not confirmed, there will be at least 20 episodes Dragon Ball DAIMA. If that will be all, it seems foolish to waste time on such things. Thankfully, the episode pulls itself out of the hole it's been digging itself into with a very good third act.

Although this is part of the episode that will be kept secret to avoid spoiling too much, the rules of this planet's Dragon Ball are revealed in more detail (the most interesting revelation being that this planet only has three as opposed to seven). While previously having little interest in the Dragon Balls (Goku wanted them to help people he cared about), in this case for some reason he wants to put Dende on a mission to find them on hold (although this may be wishful thinking. More to do with this fact He has to fight to get the parents, which is definitely in character).

The episode also ends with the trio's first real fight with a new character that could be very important in the upcoming episodes! Ultimately, this is far from a great episode. Honestly, it's a bit boring. It's not terrible though, and at least new elements are still being introduced to keep the plot going. It ends with a fight that is fun to watch, reminding us how talented Akira Toriyama was at staging a good fight sequence. Hopefully, this is a sign that the exhibition is ending, and we can continue with the adventure at hand.
