within the world of Dragon Ball franchise, the Saiyans are undoubtedly the main characters and the most powerful figures in the multiverse. As far as Universe 7 is concerned, four of the five most powerful mortal guardians of the universe are Saiyans, which goes to show how vast their natural power truly is.
While they certainly get most of the spotlight in this regard, they are far from the only powerful race Dragon Ball multiverse. So, in this article, let's take a look at the strongest non-Saiyan characters in the series who can not only rival Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Broly, but sometimes, even surpass them!

Hit is the most powerful assassin in universe 6
Caste: Unknown
Although Saiyan Kefla proved to be Universe 6's ultimate trump card in the Tournament of Power, the strongest non-fused character in the entire universe was the legendary assassin, Hit. Due to his incredible ability to stop and warp time, Hitt became known in his universe for never turning down a job and always efficiently completing a contract.
In Universe 6 and the Tournament of Power arcs, Hit proved the extreme power of his Time Stop technique, which allowed him to freeze his opponents in a prison of time so that they could not move. In fact, he was even stronger than Goku and Vegeta's Super Saiyan Blue states, so Goku needed to layer Kaiokane on top of the form to defeat him.

Toppo was the first to realize a destructive force
Caste: Unknown
In the modern day, Vegeta's name is synonymous with the Gods of Destruction due to the awakening of his legendary Ultra Ego transformation. However, the first person to rise to the level of Destroyer was Toppo during the Tournament of Power, where he eventually assumed the position of the next God of Destruction for Universe 11.
In this arc, his new form allowed him to use destruction energy and hakai, with which he was able to completely destroy those weaker than him. Although he was brand new to the power and was later defeated by Vegeta, he showed how strong a non-Saiyan character could be. Dragon Ball.

Jiren Power was the biggest challenger in the tournament
Caste: Unknown
Of everyone in the Tournament of Power, Jiren proved to be the greatest threat the heroes faced. Due to his immense innate strength and unmatched ki control, he not only defeated Mastered Ultra Instinct Goku for a time, but also beat this new ultimate due to how well he controlled his energy.
Jiren's race is unknown, but unlike the Saiyans, it is strongly implied that he has no unique traits or abilities, and that he reached his incredible power through hard work and courage. When we last saw Jiren, he was defeated at the end of the Tournament of Power, and if he makes another appearance in the story, it will definitely be in a stronger state.

Morrow was the series' most dangerous villain
Caste: Unknown
Morrow was the focal point of the Galactic Prisoner Patrol arc, and the events of this story arc certainly showed why. Although the heroes have faced powerful opponents before, perhaps none were as terrifying as Moro, as his amazing strength and insane ability to drain planets of life was terrifying to behold.
Energy absorbers are nothing new Dragon BallBut no one has demonstrated this ability to the same degree as Moro, as he will draw out entire planets of life to strengthen himself. By doing this, he eventually reached a state that even a mastered Ultra Instinct Goku could not stop, allowing the Saiyan to absorb everyone's energy through Vegeta's strong soul Fison's reverse demon taking it down for good.

Granolah eventually turned into a heroic figure
Race: Cerulean
Granolah belonged to the Cerelian race, which was unfortunately exterminated by the Saiyans decades ago. This prompted Granolah to dedicate the rest of his life to revenge against the Saiyans, which he had the perfect opportunity to do if he wished to become the strongest in the universe with the Cerulean Dragon Balls.
Although he would gain this power, it came at the cost of the rest of his life. As the strongest, he was able to easily defeat Goku's Mastered Ultra Instinct state and hit the Ultra Ego Vegeta Blow. Eventually, he joined the heroes to put Gas down and cemented himself as Universe 7's strongest warrior.

Gas made a strong desire, like granola
Race: Hatter
Gas was originally a regular warrior, but after wishing the Cerelian Dragon Balls the same as Granolah's, his power grew to astronomical proportions, surpassing even Granolah's, as his will was later made. In doing so, the gas becomes so powerful that the combined forces of Goku, Vegeta, and Granola must take him down.
However, it still wasn't enough, as Gase's power continued to grow towards the end of the arc, and even though they almost defeated him, his old and decrepit state was still technically stronger than the Saiyans and Granolah. However, Gas's body had to drain his life force to keep him at his strongest, which eventually dried up and turned to dust.
2
Piccolo eventually rose to the level of the Sayans
Race: Namekian
is one of the biggest complaints of fans Dragon Ball Overall there was a lack of spotlight that the side characters, especially Piccolo, received, as Nemikian has always been one of the most beloved characters in the franchise. However, this was rectified in the Super Hero arc, where Piccolo was finally brought up to the level of a main Saiyan.
In his Orange Piccolo state, the Namekian's power is increased to unprecedented levels, allowing him to match dangerous threats such as Cell Max. In the current setting, both Toyotaro and the late Akira Toriyama confirmed that the 5 main heroes are on the same level, which is a surprising decision as it brings Piccolo to center stage.

Black Frieza is the strongest mortal in the multiverse
Race: Frost Demon
Frieza's abilities have always been greater than any other character in the series, as he was shown to reach the level of Super Saiyan Blue in only 4 months of training. And so, Black Frieza is what you get when such a potential person undergoes 10 years of training in a hyperbolic time chamber.
The resulting transformation was so powerful that Frieza was able to kill Gas and knock Goku and Vegeta out of their strongest godlike transformations, all with a single punch. If for the manga Dragon Ball Super When it returns, it will be incredibly interesting how the heroes will deal with such a powerful threat.
Dragon Ball Can be streamed on Crunchyroll.
