Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's final DLC includes a post-credits scene that gives us a glimpse into the world of Xenoverse 3, connecting the two games a bit more.
It has been one a lot It's been a long time coming, but Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2's nearly decade of post-launch content is coming to an end today with the launch of the Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC. The final story expansion for the game sees our Time Patroller going up against Fu and trying to stop his plan to use the time crystal for evil.
While it may be sad to see Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 end after so long (if it's still giving us a super sweet new transformation for Goku), it's an easier pill to swallow now that we know Xenoverse 3 is coming next year. That's something that even Xenoverse 2 acknowledges, with a secret post-credits scene that briefly jumps us into the future.

“I can only imagine what the future looks like”
Xenoverse 2's Future Saga Chapter 4 DLC launched today, but some players managed to get early access to it and share what happens in the final chapter's story. This includes YouTuber DBZanto, who released a video showcasing the expansion's secret post-credits scene that takes place after you complete the story mode.
Spoilers for Xenoverse 2 Future Saga Chapter 4 that follow. You have been warned!
Future Saga Chapter 4 Fu realizes the error of his ways (which was prompted by friendship, at least) and ends up joining the Time Patrollers, which has already established him as a possible returning character. In the post-credits scene, Fu meets the player and shows him his replica timepiece, noting that it has enough juice for another visit.
Fu chooses to take a “glimpse” into the future, which apparently means a brief glimpse of the two characters from Xenoverse 3 showing up in West City (albeit with a shot of the reveal trailer we've already seen). Phule said “the worst is over” and the future looks very new and exciting, which I think most Dragon Ball players would agree with.
It's not exactly a glimpse into the world of Xenoverse 3, but it at least ties the two games together and hypes the future of the series, which is a cute detail to go with the game's closing. I can't help but think it might have happened bit More effective if Xenoverse 3 hadn't already been revealed, but it's still good to see.
