The third and final entry in the Final Fantasy 7 remake has been revealed during Summer Game Fest, confirming once and for all that its name is Revelation.
Although fans of Kingdom Hearts will certainly argue that Square Enix has been very quiet when it comes to updates to announced games, that surprisingly hasn't been the case for Final Fantasy 7's remakes. Ever since Rebirth was released last year, its developers have been very open about its development status and some of its features.
With Highwind announcing that the story is fully written at Square Enix, we know a lot about the third and final part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake trilogy. With that in mind, it was inevitable that we'd finally see its proper reveal at some point, which the Summer Games festival delivered.

No more speculation as to what Part 3 will be called
One of the biggest announcements of Summer Game Fest was the reveal of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3. Oh, and we can finally stop calling it that, because the name of the game has finally been revealed as the Final Fantasy 7 reveal. Bonus points if you manage to get that right.
Beyond the name, the reveal trailer for Final Fantasy 7 Revelation had a lot to show, including a first look at Highwind in action, cloud skydiving, Vincent's and Cid's combat styles, and much more. The trailer also showed off a bunch of new locations introduced in Prakash. After the debut, it was confirmed that this time around the light will launch simultaneously on all platforms.
While you might be surprised to see Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 pop up relatively soon after Rebirth's release, Square Enix has a habit of announcing games early. In fact, we were all surprised at how quickly Rebirth was confirmed after the remake's release, especially considering how big it turned out to be.
