File sizes for the upcoming January 2025 lineup have been revealed PlayStation Plus Free games. The first PS Plus lineup of 2025 brings three games that cater to fans of superheroes, open-world racing and surreal adventure games.
At the start of the new year, Sony announced three games that will soon be available to claim for free for PlayStation Plus members, ie. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Search Remasteredand Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. The PS Plus January 2025 lineup goes live on Tuesday, January 7 through Monday, February 3, and members of every tier of the service will be able to access these games.

Since relaunching the subscription service in June 2022, Sony has added several games per month to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium.
For PS4 and PS5 users interested in checking out the January 2025 lineup of free PS Plus games, Twitter user PlaystationSize recently detailed their storage space requirements. By far the most controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice Leaguein weight in a full 79.43GB on PS5. Starting in February 2024, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League PS Plus is also the most recent game in the January 2025 lineup. The action-adventure shooter was widely panned at release due to its live-action focus and some major story decisions, but for the low price of free, it wouldn't be too surprising if more PS Plus members gave it a try. The January 2025 free PS Plus addition lineup offers a fairly diverse palette of games overall, but with two of them essentially being remasters of decade-old titles, it's understandable why some subscribers aren't feeling too excited about them. One can only hope that the rest of 2025's PS Plus additions are much stronger.
