FRVs can beat Exosuits to the punch in a big way

Hell Diver 2 has entered a huge period of change, and it's paying off in some big ways. The Illuminate group, long teased by leaks, has finally arrived to threaten Super Earth, and it comes with a new urban terrain for players to navigate. Perhaps the most exciting new tool players can use to explore that terrain: the Fast Recon Vehicle, or FRV. A car has been at the top of players' wish lists for months, so it's a relief to finally get a proper mode of transportation. It may kill reckless Helldivers once in a while, but it is better in the name of orderly democracy.

FRV feels like a particularly long time coming now that players have had Exosuits available for a few months. Exosuits certainly pack a punch, but they aren't fast or nimble enough to really serve as transportation, which just proved the need for a proper vehicle. Hell Diver 2. Now that the Fast Recon Vehicle is here, it's also an opportunity to top off Exosuits in a second way. Exosuits still only come in very limited forms, but the FRV can easily pick up the slack in terms of variants.

The light is back in Helldivers 2, and the faction's use of force fields shows that the threat must be taken seriously.

Helldivers 2's FRV needs variety to stay fresh

There is no doubt that in Exosuits Hell Diver 2 are powerful. Heavily armored and unyielding in battle, they are both capable of tearing the enemy to pieces; The Exo-49 Emancipator Exosuit
Autocannons can pierce through armor, while in minigun Exo-45 Patriot Exosuit
Suitable for cutting grass below. However, when they are added, Hell Diver 2 No more Exosuit types have been added, although there is extensive potential for variants. Anything from a flamethrower suit to a suit with double machine guns could provide useful options, but those have yet to be revealed.

The brand-new Fast Recon Vehicle is in a similar position for now; There is only one type, armed with a heavy machine gun. Like many Hell Diver 2 Sentries simulate all kinds of powerful support weapons, Arrowhead Game Studio can add all kinds of FRVs mounted with different equipment. Anything from an autocannon ARC-3 Arc Thrower
Combining a missile launcher with a car's mobility can prove invaluable. Arrowhead can also add an FRV with an empty turret slot that players can lock their support weapons into, giving them a more stable way to lock down their heavy-duty gear.

Aside from variations on the FRV's machine gun turret, the Arrowhead could add a range of different car types without straying too far from the original design. Perhaps the simplest option would be a more heavily armored car that is slightly slower than the original FRV, but offers more protection from incoming fire. Between the Illuminati hordes of Votless and the many smaller Terminid units, players could get some utility from an FRV with a spike plow at the front to cut a path through the horde — though it would stand to reason if they needed it. Trade some rear armor in return.

It is difficult to say Hell Diver 2 More rides will be available anytime soon, but there's no doubt that Arrowhead has opened the door for them. If it doesn't push the vehicle boundaries by adding something like a tank or helicopter, it can use the FRV as a base and add some variations over time. FRV is great as it is, but there are more situations and missions Hell Diver 2 Where a different type of turret would be more useful than a machine gun. Hope the developer pays this long-awaited new Hell Divers Strategy by adding a few more combat options for fans to plan around.
