There are many ways to defeat an opponent Magic: The Gathering. The most common method is to run them hit points dry, then meld their entire libraries, but perhaps the most insidious path to victory involves one of the oldest counters in the game's decades-long history: poison.

Poison counters are especially effective in the Magic Commander format as it only takes 10 poison counters to take out a player, which is usually much easier than dealing 40 damage or 100 cards. Combining poison counters with deathtouch is a great strategy, making Fynn the Fangbearer a great commander for your next magical night.
Commander: Finn, Fangbearer
There is Fynn, the Fangbearer A simple, cheap, and effective commander. He is a two-mana 1/3 human warrior creature with a touch of death Enhances each of your creatures with Deathtouch with (including yourself). Added the ability to grant players two poison counters Unlucky enough to deal combat damage.
This is extremely powerful for several reasons. firstly, Deathtouch is simply the best keyword for a creature in a multiplayer commander game. Deathtouch is inherently defensive as it raises the stakes for any creature that attacks you. Players avoid risking their 12/12 monstrosity if a 1/1 critter with Deathtouch needs to kill it.
So a deck full of Deathtouch creatures is going to be something that many players will be hesitant to attack. But on top of that, Dealing poison damage to all your Deathtouch creatures gives them all a huge power boost.
Remember: It's only 10 poison counters to kill an opponent over 40 damageSo two poison counters equals eight damage the hard way.
In essence, Deathtouch is going to be a deck full of creatures Increased defensive ability than most other decks, and Dealing poison damage means you've got a leg up on the damage race. Combine that with an easy-to-cast Commander, plenty of options for getting damage, and some resource scaling, and you've got a consistently dangerous deck.

Building your Fynn, Fangbearer Commander deck
An obvious necessity for any Fynn, Fangbearer deck is creature with death touch. Mono-green has no shortage of that, with deathtouch creatures ranging from cheap to expensive in both mana and monetary value.
Proliferate is also an excellent keyword to consider. Proliferate allows you to increase each opponent's poison counters directly without needing to engage in combat. It's like direct damage but without the actual 'damage' part.
Beyond that, you'll benefit from everything a mono-green mage can benefit from—Easy ramp, some combat moves, and card draw Which will mostly be tied to damage dealt by either creatures or casting creatures.
Deathtouch and other poison-producing creatures
There are so many 1/1 creatures with deathtouch in green that Moss Viper and Sedge Scorpion are no longer basic for one-mana deathtouch critters. instead, Check out Narnam Renegade, Gnarlwood Dryad, Wasteland Viper, and Venerated Rotpriest. Each of these are 1/1s for one mana but offer much more than the deathtouch keyword.
Even if it reaches two mana Second keyword with Deadly Recluse or Ambush ViperOr it provides a ramp as in Poison Dart Frog and Nightshade Dreador such as flexible removal Cankerbloom and Kappa Tech-Wrecker.
Three mana is when things start to get wild. Skullwinder, Bloodroot Apothecary, Okahame Adversary, and Ichorspit Basilisk All offer more than Deathtouch, such as four-mana drops like Sarith, The Viper's Fang, and Questing Beast.
As you reach five mana and above, your poison counters go into overdrive thanks to that Contaminated Grafter, Phyrexian Swarmlord, Hornet Queen, and Tyranax Rex. With Fynn on the table, these creatures can help end games quickly.
increase
Eventually, opponents will stop your creatures even if it means losing their own. Once the opponent has immunity To prevent your death-touching critters from crossing over, It's time to switch to expansion.
Proliferate increases the number of poison counters One for each opponent Without actually needing to deal damage.
Vikas Rishi is an extremely good one A creature that spawns with each land drop, and Cankerbloom provides either Proliferate or Artifact and Enchanted Hatred, depending on what you need.
However, most of your propagation will be in the form of magic. Thirsty roots, odor fear, unnatural restoration, and carnivorous canopies Provide a beneficial effect or a proliferate trigger.
are also Artifacts like Contagious Clap and Contagious Engine A bastion of corn for recurrent proliferate triggers, as well as another source of recurrent proliferates.
Ramps, card draws, and good green stuff
Staple green cards can round out this deck. Acidic slime provides both touch and remove death. Heroic Intervention and Overprotect provide combat moves as well as protection for Fynn. Nature's Lore and Cultivate provide ramp, and Harmonize, Guardian Project, and Snake Umbra provide card draw.
Green gets something Decent removal spells with Beast Within, Infection Bite, and Kenrith's TransformationWhile Archdruid's Charm provides removal or ramp. And don't forget either Triumph of the Hordes, Noxious Assault, or Plainswide Celebration, any of which can be a kill card.

Tips for playing Fynn, Fangbearer in Commander
- Try and sneak in some poison counters in the early game Before players can set up their defenses. Some poison counters can go a long way with spells like Diffusion or Noxious Attack.
- Don't be too aggressive. Deathtouch works best on defense, and you'll eventually be able to sneak creatures through Whispersilk Cloak or Rogue's Passage.
- Save your Proliferate spells for when you need a few more poison counters to secure victory. Thus, the only thing your opponents can do to protect themselves is to cast a counterspell.
