The story and conclusion of Jin and Satan is very reminiscent of Ichigo and Saito Zangetsu. This moment in Tekken 8 is clearly inspired by The Blade is Me, the moment when Ichigo finally understands Zangetsu and embraces him as his true power. Like Devil Jin, Zangetsu often possessed Ichigo, tearing apart his opponents but most importantly, protecting Ichigo. Satan saved Jin from death several times, even though he scolded Jin many times. This is incredibly similar to Zangetsu's treatment of Ichigo.
