How to get calcium in StarRupture

Calcium is the third main ore you need to ship to corporations in StarRupture. Here is where calcium ore deposits can be found.

The easiest place to get the Synthetic Silicon Blueprint is from GRO “Mythic Cry” Griffith's Research Outpost, far north of your starting base. I've marked the exact location with a red box in the screenshot below, and then used a yellow box for the starting base location so you can get a better idea of the journey you need to travel.

My journey to the Mythic Cry research outpost is also marked with a dotted line in the screenshot. This required me to pass the research outpost of CRO “Grey Owl” Claywood, where you can find the Stabilizer Blueprint, and continue northwest through the more barren part of the map, where there is more calcium to reach.

There are a few things to note along the way. Once you reach the “Grey Owl” research post, you'll want to continue heading northwest until you reach a patch of calcium ore veins in the ground. From here, you'll want to head north until you see some bright orange vegetation on the hill shown in the screenshot below.

Don't walk through the orange vegetation, as it will drain your energy and make you walk incredibly slowly. If a bug is chasing you through the area, or if they spot you from the Mythic Cry research outpost, this can make fighting them harder than they need to be.

Get ready for battle as soon as you reach the top of the hill. A horde of Vermin will come your way, so make sure you have weapons better than a pistol at range, and ideally your grenades and medtool are fully charged.

After taking care of Vermin, go to the “Mythic Cry” research post. Use your pistol or reaper to destroy any blue growths on the buildings to prevent the Vermin from respawning and get to the far side of the outpost. Climb the stairs and follow the path around. At the end of it, you should see a hole in the ceiling that you can drop down.

Go in and see the blue storage box on the floor in front of you. Open it up, and you'll find a synthetic silicon blueprint. As with other blueprints, as soon as you add it to your inventory, another horde of Vermin will spawn around you, so get ready for another battle.

Return the blueprint to your recipe station, and you can insert it to unlock 600 ceramic, 800 calcium powder, 2,000 helium, and 600 data points for the ability to make synthetic silicon in a furnace.
