How to get and use Distilled Emotions in PoE 2

Emotions distilled into Road to exile 2 Delirium map nodes are a reward for completing the end-game mapping phase, but their purpose is unclear – especially to players who haven't played the first game. Path of Exile.

Understanding how to use Distilled Emotions is critical to building the end-game, as the ability to consecrate amulets—something only Distilled Emotions can do—is a key factor in pulling out an edge in the end-game.

How to use Distilled Spirits in Path of Exile 2

There are two possible uses of Distilled Emotion Path of Exile 2:

1. Amulet Anointing with Passive Skill (Remarkable).

2. Westons instilling with delirium.

How to anoint an amulet with a passive skill using distilled emotions

To add a striking passive skill to an amulet, you need to know which passive skill you want to consecrate, the three distilled spirits associated with that striking, and the amulet itself.

The main advantage of instilling amulets is that you can add key notables that are away from your main build in the passive skill tree. That way, you don't have to take subpar nodes to get a particularly good one that's out of your way.

To find out which Distilled Emotions you need for a particular skill, hover over your passive skill tree and press ALT. This will show you the exact name and order of the Distilled Emotions required for that skill. For example, the 'Tainted Strike' Passive skills require ir, desperation, greed (in that order).

Gather all the necessary Distilled Emotions and Amulets in your inventory. Right-click on the distilled emotion to open the instilling window, sort them, and place the amulet in the box above them. Below, you should see a description of the skill you want to add. Click 'Install' to complete the process.

Although any amulet can be installed with a passive skill, it's best to wait until you've found the amulet for your endgame build before doing this. Distilled emotion isn't cheap.

How to Install Westones with Delirium Using Distilled Emotions

Waystones Instilling works exactly like amulet instilling, but instead of adding passive skills, you add Delirium modifiers to your Waystones to make map nodes harder, resulting in greater rewards.

Waystones instilled will Delirium not reward players with Distilled Emotions as Delirium fog does not clear on these maps. These maps are for farming Simulacrum Splinter

and rare monsters.

The effects of distilled spirit on Waystones are detailed below:

% Delirious state in PoE 2 Delirium determines the number and strength of monsters that attack you in the fog. The higher this number, the bigger the number of enemies and the bigger the reward.

Only install Distilled Emotions on your Westons if you're confident you won't die in the process.

How to get Distilled Spirits in Path of Exile 2

There are two main ways to obtain distilled emotions PoE 2:

• Completing the Delirium map nodes in the endgame: Delirium map nodes are denoted by a pure white plus icon (pictured above). In these maps, you'll find a Delirium Mirror, and passing through it will trigger a Delirium Fog, which will cover the entire map, spawning white Delirium monsters. Like Breach, the more delirium monsters you kill, the longer the delirium state lasts. When the delirium state ends, the distilled emotions will fall to where you stand. The number of these items you get depends on how many delirium monsters you kill and your item rarity status.
• Using currency exchange: Talk to Alva in the endgame and select “Currency Exchange”. In the 'I have' box, select Exalt Orbs (this is the global currency used to trade), and in the 'I want' box, select the Distilled Emotion you wish to receive. The current rate for the distilled emotion you're looking for in the market will be immediately apparent. Keep the required number of Exalted Orbs, and you will get it instantly.

While it is possible to get distilled emotions Road to exile 2 Trading platform, it is less tedious and more efficient to do through currency exchange.
