Honkai: Star RailAglaea and the new Trailblazer version will debut as the first batch of Remembrance characters. The developers partially explained the mechanics of their respective MemoSprites, GarmentMaker, and Meme in the context of the Era Nova special event. For some players, however, this information only confirms what they've known about these summon units for months through massive leaks. Some rumors have also hinted at being linked to a beloved member of Memosprites Honkai: Star Railexisting cast and new characters.

HSR Version 2.7 and 3.0 livestreams have carefully teased out information about Memosprites. Here's what the devs have confirmed so far.

  • Memosprites can be targeted at: Some allies can buff and heal memosprites, and enemies can damage them.
  • Memosprites have individual capabilities: The devs explained during the 3.0 livestream that Memosprites have an energy gauge that gains charge when the main character performs specific actions, such as using their skills or ultimates. When it fills up, the memosprite can use its skills. Garmentmaker's skill involves attacking the target and its adjacent units. Meanwhile, Mem can completely advance an ally's turn and boost their attack with True DMG, which ignores all buffs and debuffs to deal direct damage to the opponent. It works like Bronya and Sunday work advance skills.
  • Some memosprites have limited time on the battlefield: The devs also explained that Aglaea's Memosprite eventually leaves the battlefield after several turns. It is not clear whether Mem will do the same. In any case, players can always restart them through the main character's skills.

Mem's Leaked Skills and Talents

According to a leaked screenshot from Dim, the action advance skill of the meme is “Lemme! Help you!” The information, which was confirmed by fellow reliable leaker HomDGCat, also revealed that the Remembrance Trailblazer Memosprite has some additional abilities.

  • Memosprite Skills – Baddies! Problem!: Mem deals small Ice DMG to enemies, which bounces four times and deals extra damage to all enemies at the end.
  • MemoSprite Genius – Friends! Together!: It increases the CRIT stats of all allies while Mem is on the field. Genius also lets the meme use Baddies! problem! During their action when their gauge is below 100%. When their charge is full, they immediately say “Lemme! Help you!”
  • MemoSprite Talent – Go, Mem, Go: After summoning them, Mem's charge is instantly replenished to 50%.
  • MemoSprite Genius – Nope… Sorry: When Mem leaves the battlefield, Trailblazer advances his actions by 25%.

The Garmentmaker's Leaked Genius

According to leaks from HomDGCat and Dim, it looks like the Garmentmaker only has their Thorned Snare attack as their only skill. However, their talent makes up for their lack of secondary skills. Some of these details have been discussed during the Paean to Era Nova livestream, but they have not yet been described as Memosprite Talents.

  • Memosprite Talent – A Body Made of Tears: The Garmentmaker increases their SPD after attacking their enemy with Aglia's “Seam Stitch” sign. Furthermore, they will prefer harmless enemies marked with seam stitches.

Memosprites leak traces

Dim's leaked memosprite screenshots also showed Mem and Garmentmaker occupying two small trace slots in Trailblazer and Aglia's trees for their memosprite skill and memosprite talent. It appears that these traces will take up slots that would otherwise be allocated to the main unit. Therefore, players can always expect to farm the same amount of materials they have farmed for other characters.

Possible future memosprites

A popular one HSR The leaker, Uncle Guoba, hinted that Kastoris might be released in version 3.2 and that their memosprite would be Dragon. According to Dim, “Dark March 7” could be a possible memosprite in future versions. These leaks don't go into too much detail, as the playtest data for these possible future MemoSprites is still incomplete. There's no guarantee they'll make it into the game.
