How to get the Threading the Needle skill in Forza Horizon 6

Forza Horizon 6 Provides players with various skills to perform certain tasks while exploring the open world or participating in races and events. These can range from things like drifting or driving at consistently high speeds, driving into oncoming traffic, burnout performances, and trading colors with other racers. Threading the Needle is one of the less obvious skills in terms of how it is earned Forza Horizon 6. The game doesn't really explain what it is, so if you're unfamiliar with it from previous entries in the series, you might have some trouble earning it for the Horizon Season challenges.

How to get the Threading the Needle skill in Forza Horizon 6

The 'Threading the Needle' skill is earned by driving between two NPC cars in close proximity without touching either of them. In other words, you want the cars to be about 5-10 meters apart and drive through that gap. This can be done between cars going in the same direction as you or in oncoming traffic. I've generally found it's easiest to do this on the same side of the road you're traveling on.

The easiest way to acquire the 'threading the needle' skill is to take the highways that run around the perimeter of Japan's main island. There are many cars to drive between them, and multiple lanes provide plenty of room to find gaps between cars.

Multiple lanes also have the added benefit of allowing you to drive diagonally between two cars. These spaces are usually a bit larger than what you would find when two cars are driving side by side in two lanes. It may seem like a small difference, but it can make all the difference, especially if you're trying to get the skill of threading the needle with a big car.

For the 'Mini in the Middle' seasonal challenge which is currently live at the time of writing, you need to acquire the 'Threading the Needle' skill with any Mini Cooper. I recommend using the 2012 John Cooper Works GP to complete this challenge, as it is the fastest of the three on normal roads. This can be especially useful for making it through tight spaces, though keep in mind that none of the minis are particularly fast. The

The X-Raid All4 Racing Countryman may have a big engine, but it's slower and more of a rally vehicle for the highways you'll be taking on this challenge.

Keep in mind that other 'Threading the Needle' skill-based challenges may require you to use other vehicles. Always choose a vehicle that meets the requirements of the challenge and has good handling so that you can cross the gap confidently without touching any vehicle.
