BEIRUT: Lebanon's health ministry said two people were killed Monday in an Israeli strike in the south of the country, where Hezbollah has traded daily fire with Israel since the Gaza war began in October. Since last week, tensions have risen between Iran and Tehran-backed groups, including Hezbollah, after the killing of a Hamas political leader in Tehran and Israel vowing to avenge the killing of Hezbollah's military chief in Beirut.
