Yutaka Ito, Technical Manager of Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has expressed interest in developing a new Dragon Engine for future games in the Like a Dragon franchise. Over the past eight years, 10 games in the Like a Dragon series have been developed using the engine created for Yakuza 6.
