On the surface, Doombringer appears to have received a buff, as its unique Affix now has a higher Lucky Hit chance to deal more Shadow damage and reduces enemy damage by 5% more than before. However, this buff to Doombringer's Unique Affix doesn't make up for the fact that its other affixes are severely underpowered. Doombringer's previous +35% max life increase and its lucky hit chance to heal over 2,000 life were the main reasons to use this mythic. Now that those have dropped significantly, there are essentially no builds that prefer this Mythic as a one-handed weapon over the El'druin Sword of Justice.

The Lord of Hatred may have just introduced a new myth Diablo 4roster, but the El'druin Sword of Justice has already been one of the best mythic weapons in the game. El'druin provides 200 points to all stats, 40 points more than Doombringer, and the blanket 3250 max life increase it offers is comparable to the 15% max life increase it offers. On top of these suffixes, El'druin is also indestructible, so it doesn't need to be repaired. Diablo 4Blacksmith loses stability when player dies.
However, the most important advantage that El'druin has over Doombringer is its unique Affix. Reducing the cooldowns of all skills by 10 seconds is huge for builds like Aura Paladin that depend on skills with cooldowns, and it's very easy to beat a pack of Elites when running Pit or Nightmare Dungeons, which gives the effect of triggering this Mythic often. With this weapon now a possible mythic drop, the days of slotting the Dumbringer into a build's weapon slot are possible.
