How to start the quest of the ancients magic in dragon age veilguard

To trigger the magic of the Ancient Quest Dragon Age: VilguardPlayers must reach the jagged ruins northwest of Arlathan Forest. To reach it easily, fix the tattered bridge or walk around it. Exploring the artifact within the jagged ruins will automatically start the quest.

Having Belara on the team can be helpful, as she can tinker with messed-up artifacts, or players can use the Solas Lyrium Dagger. Furthermore, she reacts to some scattered notes found inside.

How to Fix an Artifact on Jagged Ruins – Magic of the Ancients Quest

To fix artifacts on jagged ruins, players need to Tinker with the three crystals attached to it.

Crystal #1

Ancient Crystal Place 1's curtain in the Magic Dragon Age

To fix the first crystal and charge the artifact, players must:

Go to the platform west of the artifact.
Follow the path.
Go east after reaching the stairs.
Walk to the end of the path.
Use Belara to fix the crystal.
Read the note.

Crystal #2

From the previous location Dragon Age: VilguardReturn to the stairs and climb up the path, then:

Go to the statue with the glowing energy node.
Use Belara to tinker with it.
Go on the Zipline.
Use it to cross to the other side.
Walk towards the crate.
Fix the crystal next to it.
Read the note.

Crystal #3

Afterwards, go to the beam generator and connect it with the previously-fixed energy node. Doing so will generate a ladder from the node location Dragon Age: Vilguard Towards the third crystal location. To reach it:

Go along the three platforms.
Drop down to the boulder with the small chest.
Open the chest.
Go down the stairs.
Climb the stairs all the way up.
Use the bridge to reach the third crystal.
Tinker it with Belara's ability or Solas Lyrium Dagger.
Read the note.
Collect the Promise of Glory Momento and Treasure Chest.

If players climb back to the beam generator and connect it to the energy node north of it, they can unlock the Mysterious Tower as a fast travel option.
