If everything goes in Marvel's Spider-Man 3 Transparently it is foreshadowed Marvel's Spider-Man 2It seems clear that Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and Cindy Moon will be sharing screen time in some form. Otherwise, if the third installment opens and Peter continues to ride the bench while renewing the grassroots version of Harry Osborne's Emily-May Foundation, Miles and Cindy could very well be. Marvel's Spider-Man 3lead to wall-crawling. Regardless, Insomniac will hopefully do a better job of matching its playable heroes as friends. Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

Insomniac Marvel's Spider-Man series has the ability to debut many villains and yet Spider-Slayers may be a tougher pill to swallow than others.
Peter Parker and Miles Morales' relationship has plateaued since Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales
The two protagonists' friendship stems from a benevolent Peter who hopes to alleviate the miserable Miles by giving him volunteer work at FEAST as a way to distract himself through charitable productivity. Their relationship has ironically never been more delicate and prosperous than when Miles slogs Peter into a rush of academic adrenaline by dressing up as Spider-Man, when Peter actively stands up for Miles at FEAST, not to mention an ignorant curmudgeon.
These two back-to-back interactions have yet to be matched in how emotional and organic they are, and it's unfortunate because they both take place long before Miles gains abilities similar to Peter's. In fact, the pair should be able to be convincing and naturally close as crime-fighting colleagues.
Peter and Miles don't get to spend much time together Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales Because the former Spider-Man is literally on the other side of the planet, the opening sequence still delivers the highly anticipated team-up (featuring Rhino's prisoner transfer breakout as a great set piece backdrop and subsequent boss fight). Likewise, Peter finds time to call Miles from Simkaria and the two catch up periodically.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has great team-ups, but Peter and Miles' bond is weak
like Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart Balancing Ratchet and Rivet in gameplay, Insomniac knew Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Peter and Miles will balance. Giving players the freedom to choose which Spider-Man to play with in the FNSM app was simple as it made swapping between them fluid, but unfortunately didn't solve the problem of Peter and Miles not sharing enough of the screen.
to be fair,
Marvel's Spider-Man 2
Features excellent set-piece boss fights where player control is passed between each Spider-Man as they battle Sandman.
Players also have the chance to foil the crimes of an enemy faction in random city-wide activities as Spider-Man they're not currently playing, and the camaraderie here is unlike anything in the sequel's scripted story events as players can hug other Spider-Man. Embrace the man or the 60s Spider Man Cartoon meme pointing at each other in a prompted interaction. That's all well and good, and yet it's interesting how little time they actually have for each other.
Without the masks and tights in their daily lives, Peter and Miles feel very distant. Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Where the two should have shared the most screen time and had the best chemistry was because they were both active, playable Spider-Men in New York City, and that didn't get done.
Marvel's Spider-Man's separation of Peter and Miles for playability comes at the cost of their friendship
That's not to say they don't interact in the main story beats, but their conversations and how they interact with each other seem more transactional, almost as a professional courtesy rather than truly close friends. Of course, this can be a result of sleep Marvel's Spider-Man The series suddenly inserts Harry Osborn into the story and has to portray them as childhood best friends, and yet this seems to come at the cost of Peter and Miles' friendship being able to blossom together.
Peter and Miles being surprisingly distant actually serves the plot well when Peter's behavior is manipulated by the symbiote and a boss fight against him eventually ensues, but that head-to-head confrontation could have been strengthened if the bond between Peter and The forged miles back to FEAST in the original game hadn't wavered or weakened in the meantime.
Instead, Miles appears to be freeing his Spider-Man mentor from the alien substance, angering Peter for no longer being responsive or compassionate in their daily lives. Both Spider-Men have their own lives and personal developments, and thus it is not surprising that they are often separated.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is a single-player game after all, and juggles Peter and Miles with quests and open-world activities accessible within the FNSM app, let alone bits of the main campaign. The most Insomnia can do in these scenarios is put either Peter's or Miles' voice in the other's ear so that they're speaking on comms because both characters can't be playable at the same time. Also, aside from FEAST, it's unlikely that Peter and Miles would ever see or keep in touch with each other if it weren't for their bond over their shared spider powers.
But it's a shame to see the Spider-Men aren't as close as they have been in the last two games and don't make any real efforts to hang out when the city's safety isn't a concern. It's going to take a lot of development to really sell Miles and Cindy as potential half-siblings. Marvel's Spider-Man 3And if they too feel like acquaintances sharing a strange bond, rather than friends who enjoy each other's company, this can exacerbate this dilemma.
