Pokemon Champions gave me a good reason to go back to Giants: 669 hours after ZA

Pokemon Champions Only came out ten days ago, and while its reception hasn't exactly been positive, it's a fun fighting game for anyone who's into VGC or wants to give it a competitive try. Pokemon the first time. I certainly have my gripes Pokemon Champions' Pokedex and item selection, not to mention glitches. A good example of this is a game I had where I had a Hisuan Zoroark with a Choice Scarf on the field with an Earthworm, an opponent Rotom Wash used a trick to give it a Choice Scarf and lock it in a body press, and on the following turn, my Hisuan Zoroark used its move after a Rotom Wash, which Rotom has no meaning because Rotom Wash has no meaning. no And there was no tailwind up.

Anyway, I forget. Pokemon Champions VGC has all the foundations it needs to be successful as a main hub, but it needs more time to add everything it needs to get there. In the meantime, I still want to play it and try to get better at competitive battles, so I decided to build a better team with each Pokemon playing specific roles and countering specific opponents. For my Mega Evolution, I settled for Mega Float.

The Best of Pokemon Champions is locked behind a $70 paywall

Pokemon Champions just came out, and the best Pokemon in the game are locked behind a different title that costs you $70 and several hours of your time.

There was also a problem while playing Pokemon Legends: ZA For about 670 hours since its launch, I haven't really finished everything. In this case, I didn't get Mega Float Pokemon Legends: ZA Because it requires extra grinding that I don't want to commit to, but Pokemon Champions To “force” me, and I'm glad that it did.

Why Mega Float is OP in Pokemon Champions

I didn't beat it though Pokemon Legends: ZAThe reason I haven't finished the questline for Mega Float over the past few months is because I knew most of what happened, in full. Still, I found the dialogue at the end between Urban and Jet quite intense, and it moved me because I have my own history of family problems and broken relationships. Not only that, I finally got my Eternal Flower Float and Floatite Mega Evolves.

If you don't know, to get the Mega Float and Eternal Flower Float, you need to take the Challenger Ticket 15 times in Infinite ZA Royale and defeat the respective trainer each time. After the 15th battle, you get some story moments, and then you're given AZ's Floette, which you can transfer to Pokemon champions via Pokemon Home.

All new Mega Evolutions in Pokemon Legends: ZAMega Float is one of the best out there right now. This is because it gains the Fairy Aura ability, which was previously unknown Pokemon Champions' release. Fairy Aura is Xerneas' signature ability, and it increases damage by 33% with Fairy-type moves. This makes Mega Float's massive Special Attack stat even more powerful, now able to OHKO multiple Pokemon in competitive battles. With a unique move set of Dazzling Gleam to hit both opposing Pokemon in doubles, Moonblast or Light of Ruin for single-target damage, Calm Mind to boost its Special Attack and Special Defense, and Doubles, Moonblast or Light of Ruin for survival protection, Mega Float is arguably OP.

My Best Pokemon Champions Mega Float Team Explained

In fact, Mega Float is the best Mega Evolution ever Pokemon ChampionsOr at least in the top three now. Most Pokemon will be KOed by Moonblast, and few can resist Light of Destruction, let alone if Mega Float has time to set up with a cool mind. It's not the fastest Pokemon around, and it's not very physically heavy, but it can clear an entire area if left unattended. For my team, I ended up with:

  • Eternal Flower Float (Mega Float) as a heavy special attacker.

  • Aegislash as a physically heavy attacker with physical moves like Iron Head and Shadow Sneak.

  • Gyarados as a heavy physical attacker with fear for support.

  • Farigiraf as a great special attacker with support moves, especially the Helping Hand.

  • Sableye as a support Pokemon with Foul Play to OHKO Basculegion.

  • Volcarona as a great support with the option to set up Tailwind.

I'll be changing some of these Pokemon as I go because I don't think this team is right. In particular, none of my Pokemon are naturally very fast, and I don't use Choice Scarf on any of them. Besides, I have no reliable way to take out Archaludon other than Float, one of the best Pokemon to use. Pokemon Champions Now, especially in rain teams. Finally, a team can perform poorly against sand teams if they flip even once with a rock slide, and I absolutely do not play.

Still, I can't say that the Mega Float wouldn't make for a great addition to the team. This won me a lot of games, and in one of them, I managed to OHKO two Pokémon in a row by setting up Tailwind in two turns (though it KOed my Float from recoil damage). So, while I pretty much hate the grind, I think it's worth getting the Mega Float inside Pokemon ChampionsEven if it means spending $70 ZA And then playing about 30-40 hours to get there. Plus, you get to experience it well Pokemon Story, and I did not expect this high after Pokemon Scarlet and Purple. Yes, I'm glad I went again Pokemon Legends: ZA After all this time, and I might as well complete some shiny hunts, while I'm at it.
