How to get Ashen's Plate Armor
Ashen's Plate Armor is a reward for defeating the Tarandus Ashen boss Crimson Desert. This boss fight is part of an Odeck Tribe faction quest that can be found under Faction Quests → Pailune → Odeck Tribe → Executor of Justice → Ashen Warrior.
Once you have completed enough Faction Quest missions in Pailune the Odeck Tribe class will automatically appear in your journal along with the Executor of the Justice Quest. The first searches in this category will be The Black Bears and Red Smoke. Once that's done, the Ashen Warrior quest will appear in the quest log, confronting you and Defeat Tarandus Ashen.
How to get Ashen's Plate Helmet
You can buy a piece of Ashen's plate helmet Back Alley Vendor, Craig, south of Odeck for the 39.64 silver. Odek is a settlement in the northwest corner of the map, and this vendor's shop is located along the road, just south of the river that flows into Odek, just north of the nearby Abyss Nexus.
If you've already acquired other pieces of The Ashen's Armor Set, you'll be able to repurchase those pieces from the Back Alley Shop vendor as shown in the screenshot above.
How to get Ashen's Leather Boots
Ashen leather boots are a reward for completing White Crow's Gauge Life Challenge – Cave Exploration Log: Gain 100 Cave Knowledge. The Sealed Abyss artifact can be found on the map west of the Silver Wolf Mountains text on a pile of rocks next to the road, northwest of Pailune.
Gaining 100 Cave Knowledge requires players to discover 100 caves in the game world. There are a total of 136 caves in the game, and you'll regularly come across many of them during exploration. Other than finding the caves in the map guides, there are no shortcuts to this challenge.
How to get Ashen's Plate Gloves
Ashen's Plate Gloves are a reward for completing Goyen's Advice Training Challenge – On a Storm of Beasts: Hang onto a bear for more than 10 seconds. The Sealed Abyss Artifact that triggers this challenge is found on the altar inside Odek north of the Odek Floodgates building (the large bridge over the river).
To complete this challenge, you must first unlock the Back Hang ability by upgrading the Grappling skill to level 4 (any character). Once you've done that, look for the bear. Right next to the Abyss Nexus is one extending northwest of the Sanctum of Penitence in Southeast Hernand.
Approach the bear, jump, and use the back hang to latch onto its back. Once you engage the bear's back, use Focus Palm repeatedly. The animal will remain shock-locked with this method, and you can run the clock easily.
How to get Ashen's Leather Cloak
Ashen's Leather Cloak is a reward for completion White Crow's Gaze Life Challenge – Little Citizens of the Grasslands: Get All the Insect and Arthropod Knowledge (76). The Sealed Abyss Artifact that triggers this challenge can be found across the road southeast of Odek's Back Alley Shop, directly north of the Beast Hunter's Camp.
These are the best tools to meet this challenge Edge of knowledge (found at Scholastone Institute) and Cuckoo Insect Collecting Pack (Unlocked after completing Blueprint Oblation).
Use the Helm of Knowledge to discover butterflies you haven't eaten yet; Many of the elusive ones can be found east of Odek, where you pick up the Sealed Abyss Artifact.
A cuckoo bug collection pack is used to collect the remaining bugs. Just teleport and walk around with this pack activated, and you'll collect more bugs over time, naturally meeting the requirements for this life challenge over time.
